He’s sitting at the entrance of another trail(bury but zoom in).
Followed this guy for 15min after I almost rear ended him on a trail. 6-10’) . He fake charged me when he turned around.
Had to keep him in my sights…but not too close. He led me out to this fire road.
That’s big…and he has a really good groomer.
He didn’t have to say much. They look huge when you’re close enough to smell him.Well you would do as he says eh.![]()
Why would you follow a bear ? . What if he led you to where the bad bears hang around.Bears were everywhere today.
The only pic I got is out of focus.

Cynical. What if it's a chill bear who just wants to hang out, play cards, eat some jerky? Besides, they're easy to beat if it comes to it.Why would you follow a bear ? . What if he led you to where the bad bears hang around.
Good question. This time of the year we ride in a Bear-Zoo. They’re everywhere searching for food. Eventually they migrate to the salmon streams and then to the berry farms. They hibernate higher up during the winter. Why would you follow a bear ? . What if he led you to where the bad bears hang around.

I remember the bear proof bins in Whistler. I would be scared I would get a serious breakdown I couldn't outrun a hungry bear.Good question. This time of the year we ride in a Bear-Zoo. This particular trail is like a tunnel of foliage. Keeping him in sight, at a safe distance, allowed me to know where he was and prevent any more surprises or an ambush. I could also warn any hikers or bikers, if I heard them, of his presence.
We’re fortunate that there has been no serious bear attacks in this area. But they are an unpredictable, territorial, and protective animal.

I sometimes wonder about you just sometimes though. The problem with the bears is if they are unemployed, hanging around in the area and being totally bored. I am so happy we solved that long time ago and engage them e.g. in dairy farming. Look:
In what way ??I sometimes wonder about you just sometimes though.
Yeah, those are usually Grizzlies, much bigger. A Kodiak can be bigger than a polar bear. (1600lbs ?)I remember the bear proof bins in Whistler. I would be scared I would get a serious breakdown I couldn't outrun a hungry bear.
And we're off. We should go cycling more then we could post a few dirty pics , instead of harbouring dirty thoughts. In what way ??
Like ok, they have a great sense of humour .. maybe they're actually a hot chick hanging out with all the OAP's on the forum because we're so cool ??
I sometimes wonder about you wondering about others .. only sometimes though.
Best I can do for you is dog walk ... I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help out get your mind back on track ...We should go cycling more then we could post a few dirty pics
Errŕ..not sure about that ..but I can post some pics from todays ride..I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help out get your mind back on track ...![]()
There’s one behind that tree having a dump. That’s what they do.Errŕ..not sure about that ..but I can post some pics from todays ride.....
Which was with my old mate Jaco ..old as in the number of years we have ridden together ( in excess of 20) ..and old as in the senior in our riding group ( along with Colin Barking Mad ) ..at the ripe young age of 78 ..and still tearing up the trails.. inspirational !
A Bolts Law there & back and a Carriers Way loop out of Blanchland ..
There's no stopping the bloke as he is off to Arran next week with his roadie crew but I had to find some ear-plugs when he started banging on about his new road bike ..
Take a bow fella ..

Not a bear in sight ..
Just bloody frightening if you ask me....Yeah, those are usually Grizzlies, much bigger. A Kodiak can be bigger than a polar bear. (1600lbs ?)
There is no chance of outrunning an enrage bear. It’s my understanding that black bears are the worst, but any encounter could be bad. Might be time to carry some bear spray.
Don‘t wonder, give it a smile or laugh!I sometimes wonder about you just sometimes though.
Nice area I had a week in Avingon brilliant holidayDon‘t wonder, give it a smile or laugh!
