New bike days are the best! I think all of the new bikes coming out are awesome. Really loving the looks/performance of the DJI bikes. Actually like the new Specialized Levo. Super jealous of the 28mph mode. Would be amazing to ride 28mph on the street heading to the trailheads. For me the Crestline still checks the most boxes. The only box it doesn't check is having the slim downtube like the DJI bikes but I still think the bike looks amazing.

Here is a list of my past/current e-bikes. I ride 300 days, 5,000 miles and 750,000ft elevation per year so the bikes do get ridden. :)

So the new bike releases are underwhelming because they are all short travel (160mm or less). If you're going to have a super powerful DJI motor, you want the descending credentials to match, which all these bikes don't have.
The good news here is that Crestline is still the best super Enduro bike, simply laughs in the face of the SC Bullit, and it's going to get even better after the Bosch power boost...

That’s the older Bosch Kiox screen, the new screen is supposed to be released soon.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking 🤔. There must be some tricks or tips or unique experiences for most of those transactions.
 
After 5000 miles and 750,000 feet of elevation per year, I'm not sure I'd want one of his.

Mind you 17 bikes in 7 years, average of 2.43 bikes per year. Or one new one every 21 weeks!
That works out at "only" 2019 miles per bike and 302,000 feet of climbing. Still, the latest thing, so they will look attractive to a low mileage user.

302,000 feet of climbing that is 57.4 miles, or 2-3/4 miles per week. He's a busy lad. :)

That’s pretty good mathing. Saves me from setting up the abacus 🧮. 😉

(I discovered that when I took my socks off I could double my counting ability).

I keep very good care of the bikes. Sell within 24 months of original purchase. Check what others are selling the same bike for and drop price $1k-$2k lower so I have the lowest priced bike for sale. Post a ton of clear photos. Honest about bike description. Reply to all interested parties ASAP. Having a trusted seller history helps. I typically only market on PB and FB Marketplace. I'm also in (tech) sales professionally so can usually close the deal if someone is really interested in the bike.

Improvements on the 2025 are the battery is now bolted into the frame vs "clipped" into the frame with the Bosch rail. Still removable but much more solid in the bike. I like how the controller was moved from the bottom of the top tube to the top. Kinda had to feel for the power button before.

The main thing I don't like is the new Bosch Gen 5 motor. I ran my Bosch Gen 4 Race motors in Race Mode 100% of the time and got very used to the 400% assistance and the overrun. The new Bosch Gen 5 motor makes the bike feel at least 10lbs heavier and not as lively. I know there is a power upgrade coming but it will not add overrun like I have on my Race motors. I guess a new Gen 5 Race motor is supposed to be announced and excited for that!

I did feel weird posting the list of bikes. I did it incase anyone had questions about past vs current bikes. My supercar is a 2020 Toyota Tacoma. :)
 
Wow that is a prolific list of bikes.
I'll be honest, with that amount of cash being thrown down on a regular basis, I'm surprised you are running bog standard stock setup. (Other than dropper)

My 2024 Crestline I purchased frame only and custom built it. At the end of the day I don't think it was worth the high cost. I like how the 2025 bike came stock and cost a considerable amount less. The only item I like better on my 2024 are the NOBL TR41 wheels with Onyx Hubs.

Fair enough. You could always swap the wheels over if they are still in good condition.
 
What size is your s180? I saw you got the axs dropper pretty slammed. What is the length? Thanks!

My bikes are RH-3/Large. The AXS dropper is 170mm and no problem slamming it all the way into the frame. I'm 6ft 1in tall and don't find the need for a longer dropper for an e-bike.
 
Gen5 Bosch is better for hill starts. Not once had to get off and push it. Gen4 Race is quicker if you are racing, one pedal stroke out of the corners and you're off. After the power upgrade I won't be longing for the Gen4 race though.
The previous Bosch rail system was utter crap. The bolt in Gen5 is much better. If I'm being fussy I'd reduce the number of bolts for a battery swap from current 7 to 4 or 5.
Whole frame is now Cat5 rated.
Still the best bike out there.
