Cube Hybrid EMTB 2025 looks lit!

I’m considering replacing the handlebar on my Cube One44 TM. It feels like I’m sitting too low, and after the first few rides, I noticed I’m getting discomfort in my hands. I’ve already swapped the grips for Ergon GA3s, which has helped a bit.

So far, I’m looking at the OneUp Aluminum Handlebar with a 35mm rise. I’m wondering if I can use it to replace the stock handlebar without any hassle?

I'm going to a bikepark and considering leaving the battery out. Because of the weight at the chairlift and the big hits on the drops. What would you guys do?
 
Well, she’s finally arrived! The colour is absolutely stunning the way it flips. I’m hoping I don’t have to change the lovely ERA cranks for shorter ones, but I’ll soon find out on its first ride Sunday.
Bit concerned how it’ll throw muck at the chain stay bearings, but upon test fitting my RRP Proguard Rear, I think that’ll eliminate that.

Hmm, logo on my motor is coming loose. I took it off, removed the doublesided tape wich was not sticky all over, and reattched it with new tape, but now with water resistant glue on the brim of the circle so that no water can come in. Glad I saw it before loosing that logo

Very low! Managed to rip my motor guard clean out of its mounting bolt on its first ride. Apart from that, it rides like a dream and I’m happy with my purchase.
 
I’ve not hit mine yet, I guess it’s because I’m used to having a low one after having a whyte e160 rsx.

On another note I’ve got a really bad clicking noise when I’m in the smallest gear, the noise goes if I go up one gear. God knows what it is as all the bolts are tight and it’s not a index problem 😭

Could also be the small chain guide, mine started making horrible noises while pedaling. I found a spacer that fit and made it 1mm more outboard.
 
See this was asked previously but didn't get a full answer but does anyone know if there is an official torque for the crank bolts into the Bosch gen5 motor? New shorter cranks arrive in a few days and cannot seem to find a solid answer online, varies.

Its in the specs of the cranks. For instance Miranda has specs only on the similar outer build Bosch gen 4 motor

Nice. See some more XLC cranks there :) Such good value. Got mine yesterday and rode the same trail I did day 1 this morning. Lot of roots and humps but got far fewer pedal strikes than on stock. 13mm def makes a difference! In terms of the low BB discussion, yes, I think it is low, esp when sagged. But I also think it is common to full sus emtb bikes, at least compared to other bike classes. Long live the shorter emtb crank!

I will say the stock cranks were not even close to torqued to the 40-60Nm you see recommended. Would have barely been 15Nm.

Clearance on the XLC 152mm is close, very close. Minimal Q factor, I guess. (it's in my office now - still too scared to leave it in an outside bike rack, even if it is in a private carpark! 😂)

Xlc’s were a good find I agree. I also had Miranda cranks but I never installed them because the xlc arrived the same day and were half the price 😌

360km in total so far, no complaints. Some creaky nuts and bolts but that’s what it is with fullsus bikes. Brakes are the next upgrade, I already decided I’ll proceed with Hope V4 and I hope that’s the last upgrade.

But then again, cycling, at least for me is a mixture of riding and tweaking.

That’s my one main issue with the One77 TM, the brakes. They are Magura MT7 and despite 250km on them the front clicks when pressed and the rear groans super loud and shudders the bike soon as they get warm. Locking up the back wheel is basically the only way to keep them quiet! Shop says they are “big brakes with lots of metal in pads” but they should have some modulation without the groaning and shuddering. And 250km is well past bedding in time, least for my past bikes. Any other TM owners has issues with them?
