Do you think the Bullit is the same rear triangle as the Vala. Looks like the only difference could be in the head tube.
Geometry geeks says 3mm longer chain stay, identical reach. Seems extremely similar since you can overstroke the shock and put a longer travel fork for a similar head angle.Longer chain stays and wheelbase and ha apparently
Mine is due first drop. Should be in about 1-2 weeks max.Has anyone had any news on what the stock situation will look like? Some dealers being pretty open with sharing info saying there’ll be stock next week right away, others being very tight lipped saying prob won’t see anything for 6 weeks etc
Pretty much identical to the ValaAny idea of specs for each model?
LBS said Kiox 400c will be a consumer aftermarket purchase, so I factored that into total cost. I hate the bar marker display myselfNo but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if you need to purchase the Kiox 400c separately on all models.
Nice! Thanks for posting! Looks to be a heavy hitter. Like that it is non-trunion shock mount unlike Vala, but bike sadly looks overkill for about 75% of my rides. Always wanted a Bullit since first one was released, went clapper Rail instead since only thing available at closeout pricing. Having a Bullit and Vala in stable would be ideal, far fetched for me, so Levo G4 frameset on warranty discount is about all I can afford. All sick bikes however. Good time to be a mtber no doubt
All us bosch folks are waiting!85nm of torque. For now…
I know! Im ready!

What's the warranty discount price on the Levo gen 4 frame?Nice! Thanks for posting! Looks to be a heavy hitter. Pending since my carbon G3 frame was damaged badly from when shock snapped off just before yoke attachment. So far, Spesh offering 35% off bare frame replacement for another G3 only. LBS trying to get to apply to G4 since likely to have issue again from heaving sideloading to shock. Yoke on G4 looks a bit more reinforced with frame and not assymetrical any longer with removal of cross member attachment. These issues null with SC bikes of course. I still ride and love my Hightower! Levo3 was a very fun ebike for me to ride however. Felt geo dialed for the bulk of riding I like to do.What's the warranty discount price on the Levo gen 4 frame?
True, I like the idea of more travel being a heavier guy (225lbs), it’s mostly the slack HA that I was thinking may make it feel more sluggish in tighter stuff. But it seems companies are getting creative now with geo tweaks to make a DH friendly bike still competent at climbing and other stuff. I suppose any mullet setup will probably feel snappier in turns than my current full 29 does trying to snake around a hairpin. It is my opinion that you can easily have more travel on an emtb without losing much. If you want it to act like a shorter travel bike, use the same amount of sag as a short travel bike would have, stiffens it up and you get a bit higher BB that also makes the bike feel more lively. The weight is about the same, as travel does not weigh more given the same components (maybe a little if the rear shock is x2, but ignorable).
On analogue bikes, even small differences in effectivity is noticeable. That is why, in my opinion, the 150mm category is so populare...
I did not think of this in 2021 when I bought a Orbea Rise with 140mm rear travel though. Now I have long-stroked it to 160mm rear and 170mm front, and it just is much better overall (except the seatpost is a bit slack, but works for me).
This is precisely what I don't like about Spesh, especially if they're giving you a 'discounted' price but when you check the price of the same frame they are offering, albeit in the US market, it's discounted at 55%!Pending since my carbon G3 frame was damaged badly from when shock snapped off just before yoke attachment. Gutted. It had been said many times, but 600Wh built in is a deal breaker for a bike intended to self shuttle DH.
Why get excited about the Bosch power upgrade, gonna have to ride this in Eco...
100% with you. A 180mm Zeb weighs the same as a 160mm (for example). Just run stiff and size down if you want playful. At the end of the day all you are sacrificing is a little BB height. It is my opinion that you can easily have more travel on an emtb without losing much. If you want it to act like a shorter travel bike, use the same amount of sag (in mm, not %) as a short travel bike would have, stiffens it up and you get a bit higher BB that also makes the bike feel more lively. Just because you can have 100nm doesn’t mean you need it or should use it. Unno is not available in the USA and good luck getting a Forbidden this year. If you need more than 600wh its not the bike for you, don’t shame them into making something ugly as piss like the GEN4 Levo.Massive deal breaker and lots of owners were waiting on a larger battery on the previous gen Bullit. It never happened and now SC are forcing you a 600wh again. The Bosch update is going to make that 600wh even smaller.
You know SC are facing a lot of questions & comments regarding that when they feel the need to justify their battery decision in all of their marketing and reviews videos.
Competitors are offering bikes with 800wh with equivalent weight or less (Forbidden, Unno) or bikes with a very flexible approach on the battery side (Levo G4) to make everyone happy.
Otherwise it's a killer bike for those who are fine with the small battery & forced range extender for bigger days.
