Hello! I'm loving my Amflow PL Pro (XL) so far - I've had the bike since late November. However, I went out last weekend and came back with a broken rear spoke. I can see they're SAPIM E-Light Straightpull, but I'm uncertain about which length to look for.

Any advice on spoke length (my broken spoke is on the rear, cassette-side) and weight (and maybe an alternative to E-Light, as they seem rare), much appreciated.

Thanks, Graham
Hi Graham, for Amflow PL Pro's rear wheel, the spoke length is 299mm. The weight may not be available at this time. Thank you for your understanding

Hi Budi! After looking over the product link you sent, it seems the material code differs from what we recommend. This part number is for the AXS Extension Cord that connects an AXS component to an eBike battery. You can find more information here: AXS Extension Cord - EP-EAC-ECD-A1 - SRAM - Service. The code we suggest is 11.3018.028.003 - EP CABLE EXTENSION CORD 780MM HIGO MICRO A. If you're having trouble finding it online, we suggest reaching out to a local authorized SRAM store for help with your purchase.

Hi

I have purachsed an Amflow Carbon Pro PL 800 (Large) directly from your good selves in France . I have an issue where the battery does not seem to charge at all. It has never been ridden.

Everything went together well and Ive paired the phone etc and connected the cassette etc. However the battery does not seem to charge at all being stuck on 24%. I havent ridden it 10 metres yet so absolutleno activity.

I have switched off / on , connected bike then power , re-paired the phone done all updates and other muppet hacks that I know of but still it persist with 24% ; the battery charge light is red.

Can you help troubleshoot please?

Thanks

Hi, we're sorry to hear about your experience. Let's discuss this further in DM.

Please can you confirm in a breakdown what is meant by '4.Fixed certain known issues.'? What exactly did you fix here?
While we’re sorry that we are unable to provide a detailed breakdown of the specific fixes due to internal policies, we can confirm that this update addresses identified issues to improve overall system performance and stability.

We appreciate your understanding and are committed to ensuring a seamless experience for all our users. If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance.

I have a question on the "Continued Assist" setting:
[...decreasing the Continued Assist reduces the sensitivity of the assist, resulting in a slower increase when more pedal force is applied and a slower decrease when less force is applied...]
Does that mean you get more assistance at a lower input power when set at a lower value?

@Amflow_Support

For frame size LARGE, can you please measure the total saddle height from the pedal axle, measured with the pedal at the bottom, with the measurement in line with the seat tube, to the top of the saddle?

Can you please give me this measurement in mm with the 170mm dropper post inserted all the way into the seat tube (with the dropper post itself fully extended).

I'm wondering if the large has a saddle height which is too high for me. The medium size frame does not have enough reach for me.

Avinox App Unit Bug and Export/Sync Function Needed

Hi ... First day on the new PL Carbon Pro today ... Noticed two major problems with the avinox app ... I'm running the Android latest version ... Recorded ride data has some issues:

1) Units displayed on MORE screen for a ride don't follow selection of units - e.g. Miles imperial selected but MORE data shows in metric units
2) there's no export option for ride data and no option to resync to cloud bind Strava service after setting bind up so I have "lost" all my ride data from today and can't extract it manually ... This is desperately needed!
3) and finally what is the GPS record frequency? Zooming in on the app, the tracking data looks like a crude 5 seconds resolution, not 1 second, which makes the data useless for shorter segments in Strava.

Hope someone can shed light on these issues ... Everything else 👍

Thanks.

It seems there's a bit of confusion about the continued assist feature. When you lower this setting, the motor assistance will reduce more slowly as your pedaling force decreases.

If you'd like more support when pedaling lightly, you can increase the assistance/assistance range to get a higher level of assistance.

Dear customer, regarding your questions:
1. Thank you for reporting the unit display error. Our senior engineers are aware of this issue and are working on improvements.

2. We apologize, but currently, cycling data can only be downloaded to the app for syncing. If you didn’t use the "Erase all data" option on the control display, please make sure both the Avinox app and bike firmware are up to date. You can also enable the cloud upload feature and manually download cycling data in the Avinox App to avoid losing any data.

3. When the bike is turned on, the GPS location in the Avinox App updates every 5 seconds. About the "shorter segments in Strava" you mentioned, could you share a screenshot of the relevant cycling file? We’ll pass your request on to our senior engineers to see if they can optimize the synchronization process.

For Large size, the distance from the fully extended saddle to the lowest pedal position is around 830mm. Unfortunately, we can't provide a millimeter-precise measurement. To avoid misunderstanding of your data requirements, We suggest visiting a local authorized store for a more accurate measurement and test ride :)

Thank you for your speedy response - please see below:

RE 1) Good news thank you

RE 2) My point is that I cannot export ride data from the Avinox app or synchronise the ride data to Strava that was stored BEFORE the cloud BIND was configured - so I have ride data I cannot extract from the Avinox app to analyse in any other apps including Strava - Even though the Strava link is now set up, the Avinox App will NOT sync the previous rides. I need to be able to export or re-sync the data - export to .FIT file would be the best option - or at least an option to re-synchronise to Strava

RE 3) Just to clarify - Stored rides seem to have 5 second GPS intervals - this isn't enough resolution for segment timing on fast 30>60 second downhill segments - GPS data for routes needs to be stored at 1 second intervals - 5 seconds is a big percentage of some of the shorter runs! At the moment I'm having to run a 2nd external device to record the data on which is a shame.

Thanks!

Hi Amflow Support. I should be getting my new Carbon Pro next week. And I have been buying lots of accessories to protect it.

One thing I have noticed, is that the chainring protrudes significantly below the motor bash guard. And is extremely vulnerable to bashing it when dropping off steep ledges. Damaging or bending teeth. See photo.

I also noticed that there does not appear to be any mountings for a chainring protector on the drive side. See photo.

Most frames where the chainring will be exposed, have 3 bolt holes to mount a chain-guide and chainring protector.

As the SRAM Transmission Chainrings are very expensive. Do you have any way to mount any sort of chainring protector, like the one in the next photo. This is for a Bosch motor.

Dear customer, our motor uses an ISIS crank interface, and both the Amflow PL and PL Pro have a chainline of 55mm. You can add a BCD104 bashguard, but we can't say which one will fit because it depends on how thick the bashguard is. Your local bike shop should be able to help with that.
We hope this info helps clear up any concerns.

Please, @Amflow_Support update the bike so that it doesn’t automatically ’Stop’ the ride when you just wanted it paused while you stop for a coffee. It’s so frustrating.

@Amflow_Support - syncing to Strava just not work. 9 trips before OK, last one from today is not synchronized. Strava is bound in Avinox app, Avinox is bound in Strava, I see last trip in Avinox app, everything seems to be normal, but trip is not in Strava. As everything should go "automaticaly", I can do nothing... I suggest cancel lot of automatic action and replace them by manual action doing by rider, this will be much better...

Hi @Amflow_Support

What tools do I need to remove the cranks and chainring? And where can I get them from?

Thanks.
For the removal of the cranks, you may utilize an 8mm hex wrench to proceed. Please ensure that the outer bolt cap is not removed, as it must remain in place. Regarding the removal of the chainring, a spider tool is required. You are advised to contact our support email or reach out to a local authorized dealer for purchase.

Sorry to hear about the issue, please make sure the cloud feature is turned on and try download your ride data to the app first. You could try switching your network so that the app can sync the data to Strava. You can also try reinstalling Avinox App. Then, log in with the account you used when you paired your bike, and connect to Strava to check if the latest data syncs up. We hope this can help resolve the issue and will definitely forward your suggestion to our senior engineer to think about the optimization of the syncing method

You can switch the data recording mode to auto-pause on the control display. When it is set to auto-pause,the bike can start recording and pause recording automatically when the set speed is exceeded and below.

Can you give any more info on the spider tool. The lock nut appears to be 51-52mm diameter, and the diameter at the lug notches is 47mm.

This seems to match the spider tool for the Bosch Active Performance Line.

Hi @Amflow_Support
Yes I know all that but if I stop for a coffee, the bike turns itself off after 5mins or so, and ‘Stops’ the ride. I want to be able to resume the ride when I switch the bike back on so that I have one complete ride in the recording - when I upload to Strava.

Yes, that would be nice ... I end up with several "rides" instead of one at the end of a day. Annoying! Alternatively if there was a way to merge the rides, this would get around the problem. I've also requested an export feature.

Thank you for sharing your concern about the bike turning off too soon. In the General settings on your control display, you can choose to set the auto-off time to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour. This should help prevent the problem from happening again.

Unfortunately, we can't share the precise specs of our spider tool. If a customer uses non-official tools to remove the motor and it results in damage, the warranty might not cover it. We hope you understand.
