Great. Will you also turn back one 13mm socket for me and shipp? Will pay.I went with a 13mm socket (I couldn't find a half inch socket to hand) and turned it back to just over 17.4mm.
3/8s drive socket. Half inch drive won't fit the top left bolt .

Sorry only seeing this now. By the time you paid for shipping it would probably be cheaper to buy a slim 13mm socketGreat. Will you also turn back one 13mm socket for me and shipp? Will pay.
The nut is 13mm, no?
Other solution is just to cut a little of carbon around nut with a dremmel.

Seems like you were right !Mine looked immaculate inside too with no water ingress visible at all but the circuit board still needed replacing for the motor to come back to life. Since you have the parts anyway I personally would change the part and see if that helps.
@blacklab14, I'm not local to Surrey Hills. But if it helps, I'm near the Birmingham area. pm me with the details of what happened and I'll try and give you guidance on how to get the bike up and running
@Mikefiver, same thing as above. I've become somewhat the Bafang guy in the UK. If your motor is under warranty (and you can prove this as the original owner), i can either swap the controller or get a replacement motor from Bafang. PM me and we'll go from there![]()

Thanks Neeco, not sure how to pm you? I’ve knackered the warranty after repairing it a few months ago. Repair was a replacement connector board - original was corroded, motor had water in it.@blacklab14, I'm not local to Surrey Hills. Might be same again although different fault codes?
Cheers
Bike turns on but code 12 comes up.I see.
Its difficult to diagnose the motor without inspecting it in person, as I have the Besst Tool and my own account with Bafang. But I can aid you in identifying whether the motor is the problem.
So i'd like to ask you to perform a quick test.
Remove the battery from the bike. Then hold the power button on the display remote whilst installing the battery. Essentially, you're force-starting the system.
If the bike turns on, then we can confirm that your controller in the motor is working.
If it doesn't turn on with this method, then we know that the route of the problem is the motor.
Please kindly let me know if it turns on or not and we'll go from there![]()
I don't think it's that they "so unreliable".i presume sport direct are just selling old stock....shame they seem so unreliable.

Are you able to attach the word document by any chance?I bought my E-Mythique from CRC in their sale last year. Although they were in administration, details on their website indicated that standard terms still applied to returns and warranty claims.
After only a few rides I started getting intermittent problems with the motor before it stopped working altogether.
I managed to contact CRC through their webchat. By this time they had been purchased by Frasers Group who said that they were not responsible for any previous orders or issues. I was advised to email the administrators at [email protected].
I received a reply 2 months later saying I could register a claim as an unsecured creditor.
In the meantime I contacted my credit card provider and explained the situation to them and provided all the information. They opened a case and within a few days had agreed to refund the cost of the bike through the 'chargeback' process.
Within a couple of weeks the money was refunded.![]()
Chargeback and Section 75
Read the latest policy and guidance from UK Finance: Chargeback and Section 75www.ukfinance.org.uk
I then came across the forum whilst looking to repair the bike. I took the motor apart and found that one of the boards was corroded. I ordered spares from AliExpress, changed the faulty part and it has now been working fine since.
Hopefully this info may help those of you who are having issues with their bikes. I have a word document which has more info on the "CRC in administration" warranty policy but don't know if I'll be able to attach it?
Also, thanks to all who posted on here with Info on repairing the motor, it's really helped me and saved my bike!!View attachment 153433

Thank you so much!I've converted them to PDF as couldn't attach the word documents.
The form was from the administrators and is to register a claim as an unsecured creditor. It should be sent to [email protected]
Like I said, I went through my credit card company rather than doing that.
Good luck with itThank you so much!
