Dirtlej Dirtsuit will protect you at least, Got one and it's helped
There's tons of trails 5 miles west of Cirencester e.g. Bisley, Througham - has to be said though is gloomiest weather inn memeory here this time of year
The post ride clean off is an issue, sometimes you just gotta scrape off the worst of it and repeat.
Ive found that you can go a fair while like that as long as you clean and lube the chain.

I have always suffered with winter blues. I need sun on my back. This effects my biking in the winter because I loose my mo Jo.
if I lived in a house I think it would be better, then I would come in from a ride out, put the bike in the garage and clean it the next day, my shitty cloths would be thrown in the floor and magically appear clean and folded a couple of days later.
As it is I look out the camper window and it’s all gloomy and drizzly and I have no intention of getting out there because I know when I get back I have to clean my bike off before putting it away, my dirty cloths have to put somewhere all wet and wait until we have a full load of washing because to just wash my bike cloths would cost the same as a full load. Don’t forget my last payday was the end of September and I don’t get payed again until end of March.
At the moment we’re in Cirencester so no real good places to ride out. Yes there is 417 bike
park down the road and yes it’s ok down there but I refuse to pay double the entry fee just because I ride a Ebike, it’s not that I would use the uplift.
So in the winter I get fatter and dream off them nice days when the sun comes out and next year I get back to my site in Scotland where I have my own bathroom and the wife has her own washing machine.

Migrate to South Africa (Highveld, Gauteng, around Johannesburg) in winter No rain, sun every day (with exceptions). Here ee define chilly as 8 degrees Celsius with the max around 20. Cape Town is in a winter rainfall region with rain nearly every single day, so come up north! Great trails!

I tried everything except rubbing me with vaseline what I will try out tomorrow if I can find a gallon of vaseline at the drugstore!
In decades of cyling, motocycling and snowboarding there has been no better anti-fogging than good ventilation behind the glasses / visor. Trust me,

I agree …good ventilation and the proper eye protection prevents my eyes from watering. It can be a struggle to find the perfect lenses.

But my eyes also water for animals or when something is hilarious.…I think I have something in my eye

Try Leberwurst with soft eggs instead. Or chopped tomatos on panini with olive oil, garnished with slices of fresh garlic and some salt and pepper! Adopted in Spain from a ambulance car crew having breakfast at a table next to us.

When I was in early high school a group of us use to wait for the lobster boats to come in. Two-Bits each (25cents).

Then we’d head to the beaches of Northcumberland Straight, fill the washtub with seawater, wait for almost 2 hours for the water to boil on an open fire, add lobsters …then feast! Those were the days. Not an adult in sight.

My lad worked in a crab place he used to kill the crabs by drowning them in fresh water ,they were more tender that way and not as stressed as being boiled alive.

I saw a chef on the TV use a sharp point through the shell into the brain. He said it was quick and easy to do. Apparenty there are some signs to look for on the shell, which is handy!

I got a few from a pal last summer just boiled them alive, they don't scream. Not eaten much lobsters or crab to be honest . Love a prawn though.

Well that’s one way to do it. Sounds more humane than ripping the arms and legs off and throwing the body and shell back in the ocean …which is how I always did it.

And the only screaming you hear while boiling a lobster is when it pinches your finger. Any noises you hear is the gases and fluids rapidly escaping …sounds like screaming.

Alaska King Crap might need a different method.

I don’t want to say how to clean a trout without a knife…you need good teeth and it can get messy.

I’m already old I was told when I got the surgery that I’d more than likely end up back in glasses because nothing can be done about the natural aging of my eyes. I was just disappointed that I only got 8 years before I needed glasses when my mate got the surgery on the same day and still doesn’t need glasses. I was considering getting it done again but don’t know if it would be worth it, no idea how long it will last again and I’d be paying for it this time.
