Apparently the first bikes with the brose will be available for customers in 2026.

First bikes will be presented in june 2025.

Didn't someone say the levo launch was postponed until may or easter 2025?

Based on that the new Levo either uses a different brands motor (Mahle?) or they are making a distinction between a Spesh branded Brose and the Brose branded Brose motors. No way Specialized wait until 2026 the get the new Levo out to customers. I expect it to be available for Summer 2025.

Well that totally falls into the release window of first the Levo with a new brand motor and later an LT model bike with the new Brose...🤷‍♂️

Using google translate it says "model year 2026", which as we all know is what a bike company would call their bikes if announced after January 1st 2025! (I'm exaggerating but you get my meaning).

This site is probably not super reliable and how its written it could mean model year 2026 or indeed 2026, especially considering specialized branded their brose motors. So I think everything is kinda possible.

Its a bit weird tho that they announced they will only announce the high end models, then subsequent delays happened. Maybe specialized/brose wanted to focus on reliability, got surprised by the avniox system and went back to the drawing board with updated software and might be testing that for long term reliability.

I bet it’s the latter, it would totally make sense for Spesh to get a jump start on the rest of the market given their relationship with Brose and the fact that they actually call it their own motor that’s whitelabeled. The delay would also perfectly explain the entire Levo delay, so if anything this confirms they are using the new Brose.

Pure guesswork, but don’t summer 2025 bikes launched get called the 2026 model anyway?

It’ll be out when it’s out, but interested to see which rumours turn out to be accurate! 😊

A clue on when the Levo is released is when the new rail is released in the US. Trek and specialized are like ford and Chevy. They watch each other.

The gen 3 released with the Pro & S-works launched months ahead of the lower models.
I would be surprised if it didn't happen this way again.

We’re going back in the new year to carry on working on the partnership and then the launch event, I have a plus one if you can make it
You'll have to let me have the dates when we come over to see you.

sorry it's in french, please use a translator. it seems to say that the new brose will only be available for the 2026 models....or a certain link surely.

New motor, great improvement in battery capacity and a surprise for the controller , looks like a Levo SL only slightly beefier and a different way to mount the battery. I think by the end of January all the speculation will be over. However I think only top S works models available at launch in two different colours.

OMG

It’s the collaboration you mentioned that interests me can’t wait to hear more.

Surely not the way to go given the way the bike industry is going lately? Unless they still have a lot of Gen 3 stock to get through.

I listen to a French podcast with Rob Roskopp. He said some companies are sitting on 3 to 4 years worth of stock!

New way to mount battery with improvement in capacity and slimmer frame does it mean battery is removable?

Please tell me they’re finally doing a wireless bar controller. I downgraded from the mastermind TCU to the old style TCU to get rid of the bar mounted controller because I wanted no cables, it would be nice if they went to a BT bar controller like with Bosch.

It doesn't help you much and doesn't reveal anything which I think the mods will remove (like all the other posts :) ), but the part number is SP23800 ..

Or it was, that was from 2 years ago, so might have changed now.

Interested to know if there will be a range extender option on top of a bigger battery?

Since we are talking rumors and random chat - how about ZF Centrix based bike? Finally lose the Levo bump?!
