Im following my previous post. 2 weeks ago I reached Canyon via online form, asking for a full refund of a bike price and shipping costs (both directions) plus additional parts (fender).
They replied in 10 hours with a consent for my proposal.
They ordered DHL to pickup bike, it is supposed to be tomorrow.
I'll let you know how they will handle the refund after they receive the bike back.
If this will be full refund, It will be 90% success due to costs like Ridewrap, etc. that will not be refunded, but stlll fine.
I still think that if they want to keep customer base happy they should offer some discounts for users affected with this issue so we could buy other bikes from them.
This at least should reduce their losses.
I also heard speculations that they are going to offer a smaller original shimano battery with some kind of mount that will fit the frames, which is a no go for me since decisive factor for buying Torque was a 900Wh battery.
Just FYI, I live in Poland, bike is Torque:On CF9 with ep801, bought in September 24.
