PictureThis identifies them as Burnet or Scotch Rose hips - it's a great free app for identifying vegetation, either on the fly by taking a photo or selecting from saved pictures.I think their for the bin . Everyone has a different opinion as to what they are. Juniper was mentioned today.
That mud looks fake!
Yes that could be them I picked them late September and froze them . Bushes had bright red ones as well i only pickedthe darker ones. If I cut them they would be full of seeds.PictureThis identifies them as Burnet or Scotch Rose hips - it's a great free app for identifying vegetation, either on the fly by taking a photo or selecting from saved pictures.View attachment 128996

Strange folks the Scots ...nothing on the calendar to celebrate so I can only assume that's how they turn out normally ..

Haha probably half Jocks and half English in the picture . Most likely a jock idea right enough. Hope it keeps us going till the Glencoe weekend meet at Hogmanay hoots man.Strange folks the Scots ...nothing on the calendar to celebrate so I can only assume that's how they turn out normally ..![]()
And the O rings on the suspension are too low!Great photo but something doesn’t add up! How did you get your bike to a location like that in the Lake District without a single splash of mud or sprinkling of dust? Even the tyres look brand new!

It is a friendly forum, don't take the comments at all seriously. It's all fun.Clean bike before my ride simple, enjoy the forum instead of being a house cat and finger pusher who complains about folk I thought this was a friendly forum
I took the pic. Leave the fancy dress for the young team.Well I was trying to work out which one is you and thought you must be the guy with plastic bags over his feet in case your boots get dirty.
As no one is wearing plastic bags I have concluded you’re the guy with no boots on and a knife stuck in your chest ?
You see a lot of EMTBers starting to use the new "MuddyFrame" and "MudWrap" products on their bikes nowadays. That mud looks fake!![]()
My first thought was; WowAnd the O rings on the suspension are too low!
AI photoshop?
You see a lot of EMTBers starting to use the new "MuddyFrame" and "MudWrap" products on their bikes nowadays.
Some of the more expensive versions even have "Real dried mud" incorporated into the wrap to give a 3d effect and "A texture which even feels like you took your bike outside"
Not sure about gin but plenty whisky consumed
Un -bloody- believable ..I wouldn't be on here if not for all the ribs I get.
I will have a Haggis and a Dram for you when we eventually meet . That will be on the first Sunday that lands mid week. But stranger things have happened.Un -bloody- believable ..
I must post "something" at least every day and I've never once been offered any incentive to do so ..then I find out that my tartan friend is being paid in bbq ? Ribs ..
What's everyone else getting
Not happy![]()
I’m sorry to hear about your circumstances but I think gifts are reserved for those that are truly sincere.Un -bloody- believable ..

Hmmm, photoshop or AI made? When zooming in on spokes, speed cassette, tire profile or brake discs it lacks details.Great photo but something doesn’t add up! After analyzing the photo several times, I noticed that the air valves are not exactly centred to the XX on the Maxxis logo. I just about fell off my Throne.Hmmm, photoshop or AI made? When zooming in on spokes, speed cassette, tire profile or brake discs it lacks details.
Nice coastline up there in Finland. Finally got some riding after covid symtons. I'm excited to see what the mood will be like tomorrow.View attachment 129031
You really position the valves in the middle of the XXs!Back on the bike after 6 weeks of recovery (peddle strike foot injury). Rode some trails looking for winter storm damage and catalogued for some later attention.

Several tree branches blocking some trails …but what a great morning![]()
It is really easy to align....though I tend to scrub away the yellow Maxxis Yellow along with a few other details about which tire I am running such as 3C or Exo+/DDYou really position the valves in the middle of the XXs!Now that you mentioned it………
…….no, I don‘t think I will rotate the fuckn tight fitting new tire on the rear wheel of mine.
