BESST tool PRO

I got best pro working in offline mode, can change motor parameters, but if I want to store them in the controller I need to go online.Maybe has somebody a login bypass for besst pro? my normal best versions are working good.

this is new firmware. I also got this new controller, but not yet test it.
ok, i am curious what the difference is between FW MMG522C4814F802010.1 and MMG522C4814F802006.1.
On a short ride it felt already very good. much better dan the " FC 1.0 with 3.6

BESST Pro is also working now 🙃

more smooth, like the M500.I will go out for a proper ride today..
I have the same controller and Firmware as you. Which Riding Parameters do you have?
This are mine

It feels very smooth.
Level 1 around 170 Watts maximun
Level 2 around 360 Watts maximun
Level 3 around 570 Watts maximun
Level 4 around 650 Watts maximun
Level 5 around 710 Watts maximun.

Does anybody know what exaclty are "Support lever %" and "Max Power"?

After some testings I think I have understood what Support Level % and Max Power are.

Max Power is the % of the max power the motor have for each level. The max power is currently around 700W
Support Level % is the amount of pressure or effort you have to put on the pedals to get the Max Power for each level.

For what i'm understoud, the "support level" is the % of assist added at your power applied on crank arms (torque sensor) and "max power" is the % of the A max provide at full power (of the level).

I use lower values:
low acceleration at the 4 first levels (middle at 5)

support %: 100 at 1, 140 at 2 and 3, 200 at 4, and 300 at 5. originally i have 350 at max, i doesn't know that you can reach 500 ? in any case i try to doesn't use max power to prevent too many consumtion, +- 1000 D+ with the 15Ah battery, while with 510 FC1.0 and 19AH i can do the doble

max power %: 20 at 1, 40 at 2, 60 at 3, 80 at 4 and 100 at 5

Thanks, after some test yesterday I was thinking about configuring it, with this settings.

i am currently on 30-50-75-85-100 %, but still testing what is best for my needs.

after 277 km with new FC 2.0 with FW: MMG522C4814F802006.1.
still testing my best settings for my needs.
E-T-S-S+-B
1-2-3-4-5
30-50-75-85-100%
in level B-5, Battery watts at 20% is around 480W and goes down to 300W at 10%.
from 10% to 6% it goes from 300W to 225W. at 5% still 200W..
With the new dcp245 the calculating of the range is a little bit slow.
i had a weird behavior when coming downhill fast, and stopped, the torque sensor did not respond anymore.
I turned off/on the motor, and it worked again.
the torque sensor when stopped pedaling, and start pedaling again picks up with a shock, this must be smoother. Is this the acceleration parameter? also the motor seems to behave better with cadence 80+.
Still figuring out what the startup angle, and acceleration means.
In BESST PRO 1.0.2 I cannot find the riding parameters..(found It)
Does somebody a besst pro manual?🤔
Overall it is better so far than the M510 FC 1.0 with FW 3.6, and my M500 with 14A FW

my Basic and cycling parameters for now:
any advice to make it smoother overall

There are two different menu i.e basic and cycling parameters. Can anyone enlightened me on how these two menu are related? Do you just adjust the cycling and basic parameters independently or they both have to be the same. Which parameters takes precedented if you were to adjust only one of them?

Hello Dvng, Timmy65. Both setitngs screens are valid with FC2.0, it is controller parameters settings and behaviour.

With FC2.0 they have introduced support level (also M560 has this). Which is kind of multiplication of human power (same as on bosh and brose). And it is nothing more then beginning incline of a power characteristics. Check this page, there is little explanation, also characteristic in a graph with default bafang settings.

Startup angle - how much u need to turn pedals to motor kick in.
Acceleration - phase current in low rpms. More amps more stress on motor, gearing, chain, cassete and wheel. I am riding on full acceleration - so 8. Bafang default is 4. With some firmwares I have noticed this settings does not work. Did not feel any difference.

I advice you to flash latest firmware 10.1 (48V) or 8.1 (36V) it is better firmware behaviour.

Reducing output power is standard with bafangs (and they putting it too high - very stupid). If I remeber right, 10.1 has it finally fine and limiting from 10% of SOC only.

The confusing part is that both settings has acceleration. The basic has only one parameter. The cycling parameters has acceleration for each 5 levels. Im not sure how are they related.

Only at your side. Try latest Besst Pro and you wont see 2 Accelerations. :)

Single acceleration is for FC1.0 motors for all PASS
FC2.0 came up with acceleration setup for each PAS.

Hi @Dado would You please post the 10.1 firmware here or drop it on GitHub? Thanks mate!

Interestingly, the startup angle is tied to factory setting of speed limit. I was unable to adjust it until i change the speed limit to 25 via Beest and then change the straup angle and back to speed limit via Besst. Strange.

Thats not true. You can change startup angle independently on speed limit.

Mine not allowed. It has a warning note saying firmware above allowed speed limit and not allowed to change basic parameters.

Yes, Besst works like this. It refuse to set anything if you select not allowed speed.
As I am saying, speed limit and startup angle are different registers and not dependant.
