Never mind! I managed to get connected to Besst tool, but typical, now its not detecting the bike. In pro bike modules are recognised immediately but in normal Besst. Any ideas? And thanks again for the help

Check if the battery is not sleeping, you must hit read in controller tab several times, because Besst software is tricky sometimes. You must read S/N number of controller itself in order to write the data otherwise it won't let you.

Not possible to revert back.
You can set into display any ODO kilometers over Besst.

I never got the bypass software to work properly. I did however get a userid/pw from the distributor who sold me the motor and that worked perfectly for me.

Thanks. Yes, maybe the account is somehow limited with this bypass. I will try to write to Dengfu if they can provide me login or invite line.

Follow on: what I learned was that not all login credentials provided the full feature set in the Besst software.

Perhaps the bypass suffers from allowing access but not full access to all Besst features????!

Yes, seems so. It’s pretty hard to get information about these tools. I know there exist distributor accounts and oem accounts. Seems bypass allows only distributor access which seems
to be very limited.

Your looks like old controller, which has only these settings.

Hmm, this is interesting. I wonder if they've sent me the old motor - you know the noisy one from first iterration (could explain why I've complained that much about noise) or only if controller is old and the motor is last generation ? This is what I hate on bafangs dealers. They will send you something and you don't have idea what is it.

So are you saing FC1.0 has no possibility to set those extended paramaters ? I've put a picture somewhere where mine M560 controller says it's for M510. Can I replace controller from M510 to M560 ? Those one for sure have those parameters because the seller showed me.

What is interesting that or controller firmware seems to be same.

Not sure why is not showing you fc2.0 parameters. If I remember right also first controller v0.5 had all settings.

But didn't you say this ? It's pretty confusing. So do I have old controller which does not have extended settings or what controller do I have On board there is it is for M510 and year 2022 so I don't know what shit is this.

You need to know how it is done with bafang can protocol. If your controller does not respond to advanced power settings packets request (Acceleration and Assistance level %) then Besst Pro wont show this screen.

Yes, but you've said the old controller was 0.5. I have this V0.8 so it's a newer I guess right ? So don't understand why it shouldn't display those advanced setting. Looks more like is blocked because I'm using bypass.
