I'm going for some of the tires cos 20 quid for decent dry weather tires is worth it
have you checked the buyers fees etc?
with jon pye you should usually add a third to the final sale cost.
some items are collection only..
some items will have a postage charge
im not saying it isnt worth it but I am saying, dont get caught out paying nearly full price for a zero warranty item

Yep I know don't worry

Is this still a good deal or are they a bit dated now? I was interested in getting one and spending some on it to upgrade the supension a bit and getting a 620 battery. I think I could get it how i wanted for around £4kish with two batteries.
Are they still a good bike?
Well ... it was a great bike, fast, capable. The only negative on that example is the 500w - which would still suit many rides and be lighter than the 625..

Physics hasn't changed. So yes, it's still a great bike and that example at £3.5k ! is phenomenal !

I have 500Wh and in over a year have never used more than 50% battery on any ride, so yes depends on your rides.

For NZ people. Torpedo7 has 23% off the Trek Fuel EX-E 9.5s. Overstocked down to $7987 NZD
For NZ forum members again both EVO and T7 both have pretty much 20% off the entire Trek Fuel EX-e and Rails.

Prices won't get much cheaper IMO, if you want to pickup a new Trek EMTB now is the time

Fuel EX-e 9.5 = $7987 NZD - €4585
Fuel EX-e 9.7 = $9599 NZD - €5510
Fuel EX-e 9.8 = $11759 NZD - €6750

Trek Rail 5 = $6799 NZD - €3903
Trek Rail 7 = $7999 NZD - €4592
Trek Rail 9 = $9199 NZD - €5280
Trek Rail 9.8 XT = $10,399 NZD - €5970
Trek Rail 9.9 XTR = $13,600 NZD - €7807

Shimano Linkglige is cheap at the moment:
Complete 10 speed M5130 derailleur, shifter, cassette and chain can be had for €110 before tax...

H&S Bike-Discount GmbH

Well worth the investment at this price.

Great value full suspension EP8 motor dropped from £4949 to £3699

Ribble Cycles 27.5" RS Pike select+ £213 posted(Parcelforce)

You need to join the site first, but bloody hell what a bargain.

I bought it for £3500 for my son. Great bike.

It did drop to £3300!

Anyone seeing any good EMTB deals at the moment? Still looking, so welcome all suggestions around the £6000 - £8000 mark.

Not sure on size. The measuring process seems to vary by manufacturer. I'm around 5'10 - 5'11 in height, if that helps.

I'd rather Bosch or Brose if I went for a Specialized. Carbon would probably be my preference, but now I'm considering a Whyte E-160RSX again, which is aluminium.

I'd like at least 160/150 travel. More is fine also.
