This is the best shot of it so far. You could ask to get a close up with the cover open to see more details. I doubt it's more than a plastic/rubber cap and hinge that could break off far before the lifetime of the frame.

Maybe somebody can create a DIY version. Perhaps, imbed or glue a magnet and metal spacer on it to help keep it covered securely for a nice bike hack?🤛

I don't like that one because the door just slides over the socket. The Bafang appears to push into the socket forming a seal.

Yep, mines shipping tomorrow as confirmed with Linda, was waiting for the charger but arrived today.
I’ll make an unboxing video + buildup and details to share them here :)
Also i’ll have to take out motor and battery to properly weight the frame and each part

From the specs my charger is a CHG C01.2A.EN which has a plain two conductor 8x12 pin. No fancy monitoring. So any two pin connector that fits the opening and has the current capacity should work. Go weather seal is important to me.

To those who have assembled an emtb before. Is the controller a separate box or will it be inside the motor?
 
Alright...I'm ready to build up my CEF50 720Wh Enduro build! 🤙

The last few pieces of blue bike bling (all matching Deity seat collar, headset cap and spacer set) came in the other day to further bejewel the living room couch with my "shrine of mtb eye-candy".

It's been steadily collecting dust since late December '22. Finally it's almost time to mount them up for bike install... just waiting now for the frameset...and waiting...and waiting!😁

That is a lot of fancy stuff you got there (nice), mine is going to be more a Craigslist parts build (I did find some really good used pieces though).

Can't wait to see you start building, be sure to document really well so I can follow your instructions.

Wherever you source your components, is all good. Some of mine are used from E-Bay, some is second-hand taken off my other builds, and others new are from AliExpress, Walmart, and random.👍

Hoping @stuff will produce the quality review.💪

I'm just gonna stay simple with a basic post of my build weigh-in, and then just get pedaling ASAP for a shake down ride and quick-and-dirty performance review of my experience.

Then I'll leave it up to others to be more detailed like RobRides if so inclined.😉

I'm sure others will too... probably some good YouTube vid down loads. It's should be X-mas exciting for many reviewers.😃
 
what do u think guys if I put Rockshox Pike Ultimate 29er 140mm on this frame and 27.5 rear? Me not going jumping, just adventure riding. U think with 170mm default crankset will often pedal strike?

My m600 at 150 mm (30% sag) had big pedal strikes at stock 170 cranks. I went down to 155 mm....much, much fewer.👍

I don't know either but I bought 155mm crank arms for my two CEF50's.
