Nice to get a bike run and not have to wash bike ,cracking day . Plus found a pair of Pogies these have been lying at the mouth of the river Spey for a couple of weeks now so they had their chance to come back for them . Been thinking of buying a pair for my Kayak for a while now fit me perfectly as well.

I’m not sure what “a pair of Pogies” are?
Are they like WaterWings?

Gloves which fasten onto a Kayak paddle shaft. They keep your hands warm whilst maintaining your hand to paddle grip.
Yes that's correct. And if you need to do anything fiddly you just slip hand out and back in again easier that taking gloves off and on .

Another perfect day for a ride - cold but sunny and dry. Trails continue to dry out and today was 20 miles of fun.

Visited Trail Builders HQ and thought about trying a jump or two. That thought lasted a nano second before I caught myself on. As usual its a lot lot steeper than the pic suggests.

Visited the local fairy but they didnt answer their bell.

And as tradition dictates we adhered to strict nutrition intake.

A grand day out.

Sry, I don’t see anything appetizing there at all…nope. And that clotted cream thing(throws-up in mouth)is a joke, right?

Here’s some Poutine. It’ll save the day. I’d stop for Poutine.

There's no way I'd be Poutine that in my mouth half way around a ride ...😁

Started off exploring a bit today it was ok till I went off piste . Fifty metres from top of Jocks hill branch stuck in derailleur and twisted it bad. It was in behind a spoke. Dismantled and shortened chain first turn broke chain . Three miles in deep Heather was the shortest way back to van . Discovered that Ebikes don't roll downhill in hip deep heather unless it's vertical . And three deer fence gates were open but last most remote one had a padlock. Safest way is to straddle and up and over with bike .
