Giant is releasing their 2023 line up in some countries, road bikes are up on Japan website but no sign of their 2023 MTB line up online yet. Please post everything you find online about 2023 Reign E+ in this thread.

As of now I only managed to find one picture of some 2023 Reign E+.
  • Reign E+3, same specs but new blue color
  • Reign E+2, same ZEB/Float X, drivetrain switched to Shimano SLX & Shimano brakes + new dark cherry/brown color
  • Reign E+1, same 38/X2, drivetrain is switched to SRAM AXS & brakes to SRAM + new light grey/pink color
I guess the rear derailleur on the E+1 must be GX AXS and the brakes Code Rs....E+0 will most likely be setup with X01 AXS and Code RSCs brakes with the same 38/X2 suspensions.

I'm pretty sure I can see a new weld that wasn't there on the 2023 frames where the 2022 frames were cracking, but not able to confirm 100%.

I tried getting a Reign this year but they have been sold out since winter. I did get a peak at the new models from my LBS when putting in an order for a 2023.

There was no 0 model (in Canada). The 2023 1 is $200 more than the 2022 0. The 2023 1 and 2 both had 800wh batteries.

2023 1 had 38/x2/gx axs/code r/tranzx dropper ( adjustable 170-200 on L and XL)/ trx2 wheelset.

2023 2 had zeb/float x/SLX drivetrain and brakes (170 dropper on the L and XL)/ AM 29 wheels with shimano 410 hubs

So E+1 is the new E+0, bikes were pretty much the same anyway, the only real difference was the carbon wheels otherwise it was down to user preference with a Shimano vs SRAM drivetrain/brakes.

Huge letdown from Giant to spec Code Rs on their top of the line 2023 model, should've been Code RSCs at least.

My guess is that they could come with a Reign E+ LTD specced with top of the line SRAM stuff just like they did with the Trance X E+ LTD.

I was lucky to grab 2022 E+1. I dont like SRAM brakes on 2023 model (I had to replace SRAMs by MT7 Magura on my analog bike). AXS is nice, battery is looking sweet.

Esos colores son horribles, ¿qué están pensando?

Quite right, the colors of 2 and 1 are horrible.
Lowering of components and rise in price, the good thing is the 800 battery in all models.
Any more photos out there? Does anyone know when they will be released, or when the giants will appear?

Not sure about that color either, wow! The dark red E+2 also has bright red Giant logos on it also which is kind of looking strange.

Were you able to find the 2023 bikes on a specific country Giant's website ?

Can you imagine getting a pink frame as a replacement if you suffer from the cracking issue?

Or worst, cracking his Phantom Green replacement frame just to get the pink one right after!

Where did you see the 2023 Reign E+2 ? (only E+1 on Estonian site)

First picture in this thread you can see the 1/2/3 in order.

it´s on the 1st post - E+1 E+2 E+3
Yes, it is true and curious at the same time, that it is only published on the Estonian website and in no other, because of the photo in which the three appear, they are not on any website in any country.
It is not known when they will be officially presented in Spain or another country.

Honestly after seing how Giant are rolling up new bikes each year, they're doing it in a strange way.

All 2023 road bikes are up on Japan's website along with prices, yet everywhere else you have nothing. Then you have the Reign/Trance eMTBs up on Estonia's website, but no visibility elsewhere.

They also make special reveal days for their dealers and looks like there's not any kind of enforced embargo with all the leaked pictures and videos.

Go take a look on the Cycle World Miami Facebook page, they basically filmed the whole Giant USA 2023 line up, including the new lighweight Trance E+ (which is called Trance X Elite).

I can't find video from 2023 line up.

A german youtube channel showed off the new E+1. You can set the close captioning to translate it to english.

The prices are similar to the 2022 models, but each for the model below.
The 2023 e+1 is the new top model with the same price of the e+0 2022, but with some upgrades (axs, battery) and downgrades. Also for the price of this year's e+1 you will get just the e+2 next year but with 800wh battery.
If somebody is interested in the complete specs of all three 2023 models please send me a PM.

How strange, who presents it and a German youtuber, and the bike is not present on the Giant Germany website

The Canadian pricing I saw was $9699 for the 2023 e+1 and $7299 for the e+2.

To compare, the 2022 pricing is $9499, $8499 and $6999 for the e+0, e+1 and e+2. That was after a price hike in the spring.
