StunningReturning to California from Utah’s Canyonands/Moab area last week mrs levity and I visited Capitol Reef Natl Park. There aren’t any singletrack mtb trails but there are scenic dirt roads, hiking trails, and geological features. The Park “reef” follows a monocline where tectonic plates uplifted several thousand feet of sedimentary rock layers which have eroded over time. The highway on the park’s east side exposes ~200 million years of geologic history in a 15 mile stretch.
