Peddle hit a tree stump covered with leaves, afraid not surgery Christmas Eve just had the phone call
bad luck.....why do the forest workers alway leave a 100mm stump when they cut saplings down! GRRR! Did you put your arm out to break the fall? That usually leads to collarbone break rather than arm.................any armour??

So the surgery has worked and my collarbone is now starting to heal. I have 100% full motion and although I have lost a lot of strength the consultant thinks I will make a full recovery.

I started physio this week and have to put some work in to get back on the bike for February. They want me to focus on balance primarily as that’s the greatest risk when I get back on the bike due to the constant changes in Balance when we’re out on the trails.

I’m confident I’ll make it, I’m sure it will be the fear of falling that will be the largest obstacle once I get back out there,
