Two trips (Sat & Sun) to Darwen Moors/Jubilee Tower.

Saturday, on my own, 20.5 miles, 3000ft of climbing (3781ft if you believe the OS Maps app!) and 1400kCals burnt off. Had the Orbea Range Extender on for first time to see what effect it had. This ride used all of it pretty much (so 252wHr). It was particularly boggy up on the top of the moors - went up to the bottom of my brake discs twice!

Anyway, some piccies...

Sunday, with my good lady. 16.7 miles, 2100ft and 1020kCals burnt. (No pics)...

That's nearly 46 miles since Friday night and 5900ft of climbing... No wonder I feel knackered!

Quick, two-hour inaugural ride of my new Mondraker Crafty R.

Starting point next to the Abbey of Einsiedeln, Switzerland.

Across the viaduct, the first milestone of this ride is visible, second peak left of the lamp post.

Uphill on the forest road.

Looking back at Lake Sihl and viaduct.

Reaching the lonely peak barely above freezing point.

Finally some singletrail.

On the other side, the view opens up towards Lake Zürich.

After a short gravel section, the road turns into singletrail again. Lovely.

Moo.

Don't mind if ride across your dinner table?

I you look closely at the track, you'll see the reason why my first upgrade will be mudguards.

Singletrail back down to Lake Zürich and home...

I inherited the bath, only tried the jacuzzi thing once since pressing the button had the effect of draining all the water out which I thought was odd until I looked over the side & saw where it had gone.
