Another blast last night after work. Making use of the break in our glorious summer weather! ?

Did the route around Belmont, Cartridge Hill (reverse direction) and up across Darwen Moors (very wet and boggy!). Tried looking for a new route as trails shown on OS map but they just petered out. Click on pics for bigger versions.

@etoni I had to check with Google: according to the sign in your photo, that summit is just shy of 9000ft (2717m)… The tallest mountain in the U.K. — as I’m sure you know — is Ben Nevis at 1,345 metres (4,413 ft), less than half the height.

Portes du Soleil circuit, I think the lifts required will close this weekend so this was a last chance. From Morgins to Champery etc. I might have take my analogue bike but I’m redoing it as 1x and it’s lacking the chainring I want so I figured the chain would be popping off all day. I will need some new brake pads though
