Nukeproof megawatt, I won’t be riding for a little while after my crash on Death Valley yesterday. A few bruised ribs. Sucks lol
 
Section 17!! One of the best bits. Bit choppy now tho. Ribs are a killer as well, don’t sneeze! Haha
 
@Bennyb Look out for group rides at Pines. I will be setting up another before too long, with some completely new trail sections in there. (other side of the old rail bed).
 
Hi all,

New to the forum and (soon to be) new to the world of EMTB when it arrives :/ is Pines a regular meet or for new guys too? I.e. set days and times ?

I've been looking around Notts for cycling groups but they are all road bike groups.

Trying to get a regular between Pines, Matlock and cannock where possible...
 
@Kevrow2010 It's half regular. When the planets align a few rides close together happens. I know @steve_sordy and @myapes are there quite regularly, also @Davvee too. By the looks of it Steve will be organising another group ride soon enough. Also when you get your bike then just shout on here of some days/times you are around and someone may well be free and meet up :)
 
I've just been given some stronger painkillers for my ribs. I think it will be a good 3 weeks until I'm back on the bike :(
 
Bruised most of them on my left side :( Got to order a new helmet as well
 
You'll be back out sooner than that. Always feels like it'll be ages and then the pain eases and of you go :)
 
I'm planning for a ride at Pines on Friday (27th) if anyone is around to meet up, aiming to be there about 11am :)
 
Man if my ribs wasn’t busted from my red route crash then I’d be there.
 
I will be doing the red route but relatively steady (no jumps anyway ;)) as I fractured my collar bone 4 weeks ago
 
I clipped a tree stump on Death Valley last Monday and smashed my ribs and helmet.
