Newbie from New York. Just ordered the 2019 Expert, for delivery in "early November". I would like to propose a post where all who have ordered a Levo can keep others informed about their delivery timelines. This is for those of us who are not lucky enough to live in an area where these bikes are available at LBS. I ordered mine on 9/22/18 and have a delivery timeline of early November. Thanks.

2019 Turbo Levo Expert in storm grey/rocket red just ordered in the UK, expected delivery Feb 2019 :-(

Seems my local shop doesn't have such an important relationship with Specialized!

It will probably take longer as Specialized just anounced a pause in shipping

Is this offical now Al? Worldwide?
It’s for sure in the US, don’t know about the real world

The dates on wheelies have all been pushed back with big differences on certain models/sizes, some have moved out to March 2018.

I was about to post something on this very subject this morning but ran out of time due to riding at the forest of Dean today.
On the 18th I rode 2 x 2019 Levo carbon comps and both of the bikes motors seemed quite loud compared to my 2017 motor that I have.
It was more noticable when I was pushing down hard on the pedals and the noise was of a more high pitched sound compared to the 2017 Levo I have.
I rode a completely different 2019 Levo carbon comp yesterday and the motor was a lot quieter to the point where I bearly noticed it so it looks like there is a problem folks
Hopefully it is an easy fix for the Specialized team to resolve.

Bike: 2019 Levo carbon comp L blue/tint
Ordered: 22 September 2018
Original date Expected: End November 2018
Revised date Expected: first week Dec
Location: UK
Not a massive shift and dealer said they didn’t know why it had shifted last week

I checked with my local dealer today and they said that "The update to US dealers has already been carried out on UK stock" so the dates we have in the UK shouldn't move out any further, mine is Feb 19, I see that Rutland is saying 79 days lead time, but it was saying that last week as well...

I have a Levo ordered from here as well. Will need to check with them to see what the possible bad news is.....

Everything is held up and on hold at Specialized - Specialized UK confirmed this on the phone to me today

I’ve found one available in stock. He’s going to check the motor for noise tomorrow and report back. If it’s good I’ll just go collect it and cancel my order with Rutland. I can see this going on until Xmas.

Bike- Levo Comp Carbon L/Blue
Ordered- Sept 18
Expected- End of Nov
Location- Texas

I had expected my Levo at the end of November but with the 3-4 week delay looks like I know what I'm getting myself for Christmas- A new EMTB- Exactly what I wanted.

Uggh!

The bike shop just called.

My Expert Levo which I ordered 19 September (the earliest date I could in Oz) and was originally slated for delivery Mid - End October, has now been pushed back to March 2019 due to the motor recall.

I think that amply demonstrates Specialized don't have the engineering or manufacturing chops to be pushing out yearly models with significant design changes. They are not Apple or Samsung. With the exception of a small number of base models (which probably need their motors replaced), the September launch was purely a paper one.

It's maddening because by the time the bike does get delivered there will be talk of the 2020 model which will, I'm sure, be much "*improved*"

Sigh!

Lets be realistic here though, Specialized will know this is a major problem and that they will need to have stock shipping before or at least very early 2019 otherwise people will surely start to look elsewhere. I am getting dates of May 2019 for a Hyper/Black base model but I'm pretty sure by then I will of moved on to something else I can actually get my hands on.
Not sure i would buy a 2019 model bike half way through that year when surely talk of the 2020 model will be filtering through.
Lets hope these dates are worse case scenarios and we start to see a shift sooner rather than later.
Will look forward to seeing people post as soon as the actual bikes arrive so we can see any movement.

I've just ordered the S-works Levo 2019, been given a UK delivery date of Feb. Apparently should get once of the very first in the UK.
