yes that is more preferable than cold and snow. Much easier on these old eyes. That is the beauty of living in California. Yes we have whacky trends and politics but you can go from biking in mountains in snow to biking at the beach and seeing,,,,,that!

How far above sea level is that?
Where I used to live in the UK, ascending only 1000ft and you'd get snow, ride back down and you'd only get damp streets.

We get snow above 5000ft. Sometimes lower than that but it doesn’t last long. Winters are mild (not sure you can call them winters). I grew up in Europe, in snow, and this is plenty of snow for me. If I want to see it, I drive up to the mountains or turn on the iPad. I love shorts/tea year round,,,,

I'm currently still in mourning over those glasses..smashed beyond repair after an " off " on ice a couple of weeks back ..
