I was looking for a spare derailleur hanger and checked mine, it doesn't look like the SRAM universal hanger. What is it? Looks little bit like Lapierre Pro Race but Stilus one is flat at the bottom. BTW, B screw limit was not set correctly on mine, I had to adjust to get rid of the chain noise at lower gears.

Not really, motor should just drop out, cranks intact. Using wiring harness / port for Kiox is on top of motor.

(untested though!)

Well it arrived on friday evening
spent a little bit of time yesterday fettling.
brakes exercised,bled and calipers centered they are bang on now
gear change tweaked and all good now
quick 5 mile bimble and it is a hoot
dmr v8's ordered
suspension pump ordered
tubeless valves and fluid ordered
booked in for first week of august for firmware update (first available slot) at local bosch agent currently on du 1.0.2.0
just need to sort mudguards,saddle and grips next.
then build a trailside toolkit and a way to carry it.


Thanks for all the help and info so far i am sure there will be lots more questions to come.

Thanks guys. I have a torque wrench and pump. I'm really tempted to get one of these bikes. It's looks like very good value and would give me what I am looking for i.e. more suspension travel and 4 piston brakes but I'm having a real struggle trying to justify the spend. My potential for improvement is very limited at my age and I'm content riding blue trails although I have had both wheels off the ground a lot more recently I know I can't justify the spend for a £5000 bike but I do believe this one would be right up my street without breaking the bank.

If it helps justify the cost for you, my cross country, long distance cycling has gone through the roof in the few days I've had the bike.

I think decathlon got some serious issues with there ordering system . I really felt for the man . He nearly Waited 2 was supposed to have it Monday 20th .

I'm 56, just had 2 heart attack in the last 3 months (one was full on dead bit with cpr!) and that makes you put things in perspective. it's the best thing I've bought. You won't ne disappointed at all with the bike. I'm working back up to blue as we speak and it's factored into my rehab.
I've always ridden and believe me, don't hesitate, it is a lot of money (for some, not others), but you will love the hurt from. The grin factor. ??.

OK, been going over bike even more and have spotted a possible future pain. Not serious but have put a fix together to prevent. It concerns the entry points of the cables as the go into the headstock. There are plastic protectors screwed into the frame, trouble is, the cables rub against the screw edge.
I put a sleeve over the cables and into the holes (photos attached). The rubbing parts could be any cable depending on how they pushed them in.
I used some old car brake bleed tubing I has laying around and it seems to have done the job. Just need to secure them now-could use a number of things tbh.
It may seem a small issue but mine would have chewed the rear hydraulic brake cable-not good!
Check yours out, the photos should give enough idea of what I did, used and the measurements when gauged against my fingers.

Or remove the little knives and fit M3 x5mm Cap head screws.

Yeah, cheers bud. On the mend and the Stilus (assuming all emtbs) is a revelation allowing me to keep the heart rate at least 20 beats lower on any hills.

Looks brilliant Rob, what 29” wheel you using? Do you think there’s any point in spending like £150 on front wheel for it for a mullet set up? Any recommendations?

You need both 29” wheel and 29 Fork, so it’s a lot of cash, but in my opinion it totally transforms the bike.
I’m just using spares I had. The wheel is from my Levo SL and the Pike I bought last year (but just converted it to 160mm for this bike).

Ah cheers man, I was under the impression the included fork would fit a 29er, in that case I’m gonna just get new tires on her and the wide bars, saddle, until I have the upgrade cash thanks for the tips rob.

So, I know most of you guys did receive the bike early, but it seems after the struggles I've had to finally manage to order one that doesn't get cancelled, now it seems to be taking forever for the bike to get to me (estimated delivery date is tomorrow, so I sure won't get it early now).
I went for click and collect as I leave 10 minutes away from the Glasgow store, but the bike has been shipped on the 16th and I have no news since then.
For those who got the bike delivered to a store, how long did it take them to receive it and prepare it for you to come and collect the bike?

@Rob Hancill given the low BB isn't taking off the bash guard bit of a risk - have to say the bash guard looks to be a quality bit of kit compared to other brands offerings

I got mine the same day shipped and delivered ? that was my first one I’m hoping this will happen on the second one

Give the store a call, you might find that its there.

it’s way too heavy for what it is. Simple moulded plastic would probably be better and absorb impacts better too ?‍
