Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.
Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Install the App, connect to your bike, send a licence request, pay and you'll get it.
Or find/build a time machine and back to 06/01/2019 and get the licence for free

Due "Shimano Inc" demand the App was renamed to "ST Unlocker"
Features:
- Bike Info
- Battery info (recharge cycles and health %)
- Change Assistant Level, including maximum power

I have a Shimano E7000 motor with a SCE7000 CPU. I have installed STUnlocker app on my Android phone and I am able to change the Assist and Nm for each mode, but from what I am reading on the STUnlocker website you can only change the Max Speed on a Shimano E8000 motor with a SEC8000 CPU.

When you tested on the E7000, did you try to change the Max Speed setting?

SCE7000 does not support motor's FW 4.3.2
With SCE7000 you can change market to US and get 32km/h speed limit. Also, you can change circumference to 1300 and get 40+km/h speed limit.
I guess I missed the part on how to apply the licence

What did you try?
You sent a licence request from your girlfriend's bike. Paid for it. Got the email with the licence and instruction how to apply the licence (you can use that licence only with your girlfriend's bike, not with your bike).
What exactly does not work for you? What exactly do you not understand in those simple steps?

Hello mate ive purchased the licence on your steps unlocker app.
I have a steps e8000 with di2 gears and the latsted fireware 4.7.1
Ive changed my wheel circumference to the lowest possible setting and changed to usa on location.
It is great the motor works all the way up to top speeds i can get on my bike! Just wondering if what i have done is safe as bike dealer said no chip at all would work with my di2 gearing but this seems to be throwing up no faults at all? The speed is wrong of course etc but thats fine unless theres a way to get it bang on?

If you didn't pay for the Premium licence for your wife's bike, what do you expect then?

I don't think that motor controls speed via Di2 gears. So, if it works for you - it works...

If you open www.stunlocker.com you can find information that Windows version is no longer supported.
Use Android/IOS App
p.s. You can try to start it in "Compatible mode" or start it "As Administrator"
I have a Special Off-line Laptop not connected to the internet, where the Windows Unlocker (1.0.3.17 or later) is installed. There where no updates or other changes to the System and the Windows Unlocker ran until the last time i used it. The only thing that changed is time passing by. In your previous versions of Windows Unlocker (1.0.3.16) there was a time limitation "Version is obsolete".
It seemes that in this Version there is a "time bombe" which prevents the Software from being used any more. Compatible or Administrator mode does not solve the Problem.

It's not true. 1.03.19 does not have any restrictions, it was released as a final version.
Yes, I can confirm: You can use keys for Windows version during lifetime
Moreover, according to your screenshot with error, your system does not have drivers for Shimano interface
p.s. The amazing thing... You got a free license for two bikes (during special offer). And after one year you are trying to denounce and denigrate me in a public forum, instead of sorting out a problem or asking for help. Ok, noted!

In your first answer to the not running Software problem, you didn't mention a "driver Problem". And as Compatible or Administrator mode does not solve the Problem I have to guess About the reason.
Ok, let's sort it out. Shimano Drivers are installed, Shimano E-tube Project is running without Problems. As I stated before. The last time Windoes unlocker was used it run without Problems. Before contacting you, I updated to Version 1.0.3.19 but with the same failure.

Software works fine for me, as well as for some other customers who still use Windows version.
I would recommend to find another Windows system (fresh installed system will be a good option, but fresh installed WinXP system will be the best) and try the software on it.
I have to apologize myself, sorry for being suspiciously. I tried Windows Unlocker on a VM without Shimano Drivers and it started without Problems. I'm going to convert the Laptop to Win 10 (ok for Unlocker?) and will come back here.
