Ps .Just had a browse over on the overly sensitive Ebike hatey site and noticed your post regarding chain wax on the putoline LOVE IN thread. TJ never stops going on about the stuff, but something you should maybe know is he doesn't actually "mountain bike" (Well.. not as we know it anyway) he rides dull SURFACED paths in the DullAF Pentland hills in Edinburgh hills and ONE visit to Glentress to ride the red every couple of years and wouldn't know what a clean drivetrain actually looks like.

I wasn't actually wearing the bag today but I didn't take a pic of the back of my jacket. It was just as dirty as the bag, even though I'd fitted an ugly as fuck mudguard (that worked really well on the PF).

The chain was silent over two rides with nothing more than a wipe with an oily rag in between rides and the clag comes off much easier than after MucOff wet lube.

Yeah... no doubt... I wasn't saying it's not a good lube, just that the "clean" claims are mainly BS/exaggeration

My Capra's chain is sparkling (as the rest of the drivetrain) after 2 days of steep, deep muddy rut riding. A few seconds with jetwash'll do that to a regularly cleaned/lubed chain and cassette tho. I like a "clean" drivetrain to actually be clean after cleaning it. I'm kinda odd like that.

I like a clean ring, otherwise it gets smelly and ichy....... sorry miss read the thread, ignore this last comment........ did wonder why you we’re cleaning yours with a jet washer Gary !
