Dead Levo

Done about four mile on natural single track and aimed for awkward hard climbs so far so good ? kept blasting it up hills in turbo and trail and all seemed good so fingers crossed feels so much different to before since the firmware upgrade power comes on so different hopefully that’s normal so happy it’s back ?

Well my joy was short lived bike gone faulty again after a mile so put it straight in the van and back to Evans that’s the fourth time it’s been back after seven rides motor kept sticking and clunky then surging then no power at all gutted

 :poop:

Awful mate, please let us know how it goes. I'm a new Levo owner who also purchased from Evans (the trade-in plus a discount through my work was just too good to miss out on), will be interesting to see how they deal with issues like this, having good support for an Ebike is essential.

I just received my exchange, but I've not tested it yet (not had time) so hopefully they will exchange it for you too or refund you. I don't know what Evans are like to deal with, but my store have been amazing, credit where credit is due.

Do you know what you're manufacturing date of your bike was? (Sticker under the frame) I'm wondering if there was a relation to these fault bikes and a specific manufacturing batch?

Remember seeing sticker but can’t recall the date possibly right there is a faulty few bit off putting when it’s so new aswell

Just had call from Lbs saying motor is totally shot so Specialised have told them to send the motor back and they will send out a new motor apparently they have asked lbs to send mission Control info too

Specialized always ask for a diagnostic output from mission control app, you can do it yourself and see what it says
I would recommend always resetting the battery with mission control before any warranty work, there is a reset button in the tune page

How do ya do the diagnosis from mission Control buddy

In the diagnostic page there is a little button top right corner

Got my bike back today new motor all fitted quick try outside the shop but difference was night and day for the better unbelievable smooth must say once Specialised were contacted they didn’t mess about top notch response obviously the warranty's are very good only speaking from my one experience but i would say very positive so far cheers ? I realize that the Levo has a Brose engine but this still applies. Bosch's War on Self Repair · It's Code Red

If you are brand loyal and your idea of repair is to take it to a certified mechanic, hopefully under warranty, there is no other option. eBikes can be super simple or complex with the complex overruling the simple as time goes on. But simple does remain available to those that have, or take time to learn, the proper skills to diagnose and fix issues as they appear. Both at this time are not a slam dunk for endless reliability.

Great to know... have fun!!!

Great news! In terms of Blevo, are you "over-clocking" or just using it to record your ride e.tc. (as I do mine) ?
On the first ride using BLEvo I did over clock but after the firmware update I put it back to factory and used BLEvo to record rides and stats

Strangely bike was spot on prior to motor and battery update don’t no if it’s coincidence but it never worked properly from leaving the shop after updates

Also, my Kenevo has failed to apply power to the motor about 10 times when turning on the battery. Additionally, I have had issues getting the power level switching buttons to work correctly when first turning on the battery for a ride after charging as well as the walk assist. Turning off the battery and re-connecting the motor connector has fixed the issue every time, so I have never taken the bike in to be looked at.
