Crafty 2023

The 2023 Crafty was Mondraker's full-power enduro eMTB, pairing the brand's Zero Suspension System and long, low Forward Geometry with 150mm of rear travel and a 160mm fork (170mm Ohlins on the XR trims). Every model ran the fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System with an integrated 750Wh PowerTube, putting it firmly in the big-battery, big-range enduro camp on full 29in wheels.
The range spanned six core builds. The alloy R, RR and XR (£5,699 to £7,199) offered the same frame and geometry at accessible money, while the carbon Stealth Air models (Carbon R £7,699, Carbon RR £8,999, Carbon XR £9,999) shed weight, dropping from around 25.9kg to roughly 23.5kg, and stepped up to Fox Factory or Ohlins TTX suspension and SRAM Code RSC stoppers. The geometry stayed consistent across the line: a slack 65.5 degree head angle, 76 degree effective seat angle, 455mm chainstays and reaches from 450mm (S) to 510mm (XL), giving the long, stable, planted character Mondraker is known for.
This 2023 Crafty has since been discontinued and superseded by the 2024 to 2026 Crafty, which moved to the Bosch Smart System Gen 5 platform. It remains a strong used buy for riders wanting a stable, high-capacity enduro eMTB, with the carbon RR being the sweet spot for kit versus price. Note the battery is internal and non-removable, so charging is done on the bike.
