Mondraker Crafty
What owners actually know.
The Mondraker Crafty is the Spanish brand's enduro eMTB, 160/150mm of 29in travel, and Bosch has powered every Crafty since the platform launched in 2020. The current bike is the all-new Crafty Carbon, redesigned for 2025 around the Bosch CX Gen 5 motor with a 600 or 800Wh battery, and carried into 2026 with the Kiox 400 top-tube display and the option of the CX-R tune. This report is written from the current carbon bike's seat; the older alloy and pre-2025 carbon Craftys are covered in a short legacy note at the end.

The current Crafty Carbon is a fast, well-liked enduro bike on the Bosch CX Gen 5, with a rear end owners rate highly and convert to coil with delight.
The cloud over it is the carbon front-triangle insert cracking on 2025 and 2026 frames: a real, warrantied issue handled with a full front-triangle swap, addressed by a larger redesigned insert on 2026-on bikes, but unsettling enough that buyers should inspect carefully and weight Mondraker's 'low defect rate' line against the owner reports.
Beyond that the niggles are familiar and fixable: threadlock the bolts, plan a brake upgrade, and size for the tall dropper. Buy for the ride; go in eyes-open on the frame and the brakes.
