Canyon brought the Strive:ON bang up to date for 2026 with the new Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 (120 Nm / 750 W) and a 750 Wh removable battery, keeping the race-bred enduro brief: 170 mm up front, 160 mm out back, a mixed 29/27.5in wheel package and a properly slack 63.5° head angle.
The headline is value. The CF 8 at £4,749 is a lot of full-power carbon enduro bike for the money — RockShox Domain, Shimano SLX four-pots and the full 120 Nm motor. Step up to the CF 9 (£6,149, Fox 38 / Float X2, SRAM Maven) or the CFR (£7,099, ZEB Ultimate, Vivid, X0 AXS, SRAM Maven Silver) for lighter kit and a quoted 24.8 kg.
Geometry is consistent and modern across the range — 445 mm chainstays on every size, reach from 450 mm (S) to 525 mm (XL), 78° effective seat angle — and Canyon’s K.I.S. 2.0 steering stabiliser is along for the ride. This is a brand-new (May 2026) launch, so there is no owner reliability data on the forum yet; spec and pricing here are from Canyon’s UK site.
