The Canyon Strive:ON CFR is Canyon's carbon race enduro bike, sold from 2023 to 2025 in CFR, CFR Underdog and CFR LTD trims. All of them run the Bosch CX Gen 4 motor (the LTD gets the CX-Race version) with 625 or 750Wh batteries. This report covers that 2023-2025 generation. A second-generation Strive:ON (Bosch Gen 5 CX or CX-R, 120Nm, 750Wh, reworked frame) launched in May 2026.

A completed story: the battery-latch failure defined the early bikes (redesigned December 2023), the DB8 brakes were the consensus spec weakness, and by the time Canyon's second-generation Strive:ON arrived in May 2026 the owner community had largely migrated.
