Will Sram XG-899 Fit XD freehub?

I have an 8 speed 11-48T XG-899 cassette and I’m looking for a new to wheel set
Does anyone know if it will fit into a SRAM XD freehub body?

According to this XG-899 E-BLOCK™ Cassette - CS-XG-899-A1 - SRAM, no it won't.

On the right hand side it says Non XD™ driver body compatible

doesn’t help me much. So the question now is which free hub is it compatible with

Sorry I’ve not run SRAM before and didn’t even know they weren’t compatible with Shimano ?

If I'm reading it right, you already have the cassette, but are looking for a wheel to fit it.

In that case you need a wheel with a Shimano HG driver body.

This picture show the 3 used on MTBs

On the left is Shimano 12 speed Microspline, in the middle is Shimano HG (up to 11 speed) on the right is Sram XD .

You need the middle one.

Thanks for replying, you’re correct I do have the cassette and I’m looking for a used wheel set
That is great news then as HG is pretty common, I’ll be able to test fit on one. I’ve been trying it on a mates Shimano hubs but I bet they are 12 speed
