why isn't the colour display TCU fitted to the alloy models?

Profit on upselling you to a carbon model.

I emailed spesh about this and their answer was not satisfactory

On the bright side, you can still use Blevo and the bike isnt quite as locked down. So in the future, who knows, it might mean you can use third party motors and batteries... Or not, my crystal ball is broken and I didn't see that coming.

Think I’m going to get the Trek.

The Pro was great. I loved it.
Was thinking very carefully about the Alloy Comp but to miss the TCU is a bit off, it was part of the whole sell from Spesh.

I had an SL as well, really liked it. The Trek looks very good spec and price wise compared to the Spesh.

Does the Mission Control App still have all the same functionality and tuning options without the TCU 2 display?

Is Bike Lock offered via the Mission Control app on your phone?

Yes it is.
What are the other differences in the phone app with the TCU2?

I mean, that's a direct result of the TCU not supporting bike lock, so of course it's not in the app. All the core functionality is there with maps and tuning changes.

I have the Alloy Comp and while I'd certainly like to have the TCU2, honestly, IDK how much I would actually use it while riding. It's an odd location to glance for bike info.

Yeah, i set my TCU to stealth with the LEDs off anyway and don't usually use a screen on my bike.
