Just hit 5000miles today on the bike, which seems high, but got me thinking there must be a few who have done mega miles by now. Taking the bike to really mean 'frame' as I'm already on the second motor!

Leaderboard added below for bike mileage and column added for number of motors if provided.

2500 & I know I'm nowhere near. Be interesting to see who's top on their original motor.

How do you know?

eg 2018 giant
First motor had about 6000 when it died, but that included months with faulty speed sensors
Then the bike was retired to children transport duties . The badass does interesting things to the speedo when another speed sensor is playing up!

I'm thinking we need to go back to measuring distance in chains

Had 5000 miles on my 2020 Levo Comp I sold three months ago. About 3k on the last (third) motor.

7061 miles. Levo 2020. Another 10% probably goes unrecorded.

2nd Fork
3rd Motor
3rd Rear Shock
3rd Rear wheel
3rd Full Brake system
3rd Power Cable
3rd Speed Sensor Wire
5th Set of Pivot Frame Bearings
3rd Dropper Post
4th Rear Mech
4th Rock Guard
I have lost count on the amount of the other stuff.
Looking at getting it replaced at end of next year, all the problems just pissing me off now.

Yes, a leader board would be good. Maybe one for original motor and one for the whole bike.
Would also be interesting for a leader board for each motor brand.
I'm now over 5000km on the original motor on my 2021 Levo SL.

4300 miles on my kenevo. Original motor.
15+ sets of brake pads. 1 full set of bearings and a couple sets shock yoke bearings.

Custom build and it's holding up great

My old focus jam2 with the Shimano e8000 had 3200 miles on it when I sold it. Original motor with 99% battery health and worked as new.

2 sets of tyres
2 sets of brake pads
A new chain and cassette after 2700 miles

My new strive-on is on 350 miles after 5 weeks

OK, I'll get a little league table setup. Probably one for bike and one for motor (could be original or replacement).

Obviously it's a disadvantage to those who change bikes all the time, but it's not my fault they have too much money 😉

Made 21.000km with a and Bosch motor. Sold it 2022 and got 90% of new cost since the price of the bike had increased substantial.

You also need a terrain and geographical information as well which is why this thread cant really give any accuracy as there is too many variables (y)

Well, yes, but it's just a bit of fun!

It seems like a lot of people change their bikes fairly regularly, and as someone who's planning to keep mine for a while was interested in who had done some decent mileage. Hours ride time would arguably be a better metric of use, but doubt most people have a clue on that!

I managed 3100miles on my Focus Jam2 with e8000.
Currently 2370m on a Merida eOne-Sixty with EP8.
Zero problems with either motor.

All are trail miles, never used as a commuter bike; that would really clock up the miles!

I feel that elevation is a better metric then time or distance. I'm close to 900,000 feet over the 4300 miles.

8500 miles. Only problems: chains and cassettes, replaced one magura brake with dominion.

I think I’m+ 10K km in the past 4 years on the same motor. (Bosch gen4 cx).

More importantly I have very little air-time …unless I count all the OTB’s.

You’re on a similar mileage to me and my bikes

3200 miles on the Haibike

2400 miles on the Rise

However, that’s according to Strava, and I don’t always record every ride, so it’s going to be more

Should add a column for the name of the bike eg spec levo (not “Percy the trek rail” 😝)

Your wish is my command!

Some good distances so far, but nothing absolutely crazy. Was hoping someone would have hit 20k or something, although that would be some going...

Mine is a Levo SL just to be correct.

What if it is known, you put and Asterix * next to the distance for original motor

Looks good though. Nice to be able to see at a glance what people are getting out of their bikes.
