Who has experience with SunRingle DUROC wheel sets?

Looking for wheels online.


SunRingle DUROCS show up from time to time on eBay. There are 40 and 50 mm widths available in the hardware I need. Complete wheel sets for $250 USD. 50mm seems too wide for me, but 40mm cant be too much different than the 35's that came OEM.

Anybody using these OEM or otherwise with some longterm data?

Rims are OK as are the hubs but they're heavy and not the easiest hubs to source spares for.
And yeah 50mm is stupid for actual mtb. 40 would be livable wivable but 25-30mm is still the sweetspot for a 2.5 tyre.
If they're a great price and you actually need wheels go for it, otherwise I'd wait and keep looking for something better.
