Glad you got that sorted. I also have what looks like an open heart op scar on my chest ....160mm ..but that was a BCC (skin cancer) cut out in January this year. Like you I am healthy ( albeit a bit ancient) and fit and it appeared out of nowhere. I don't blame my diet or sun exposure (I'm in the UK !). Fit sports people of all ages have been hit with a variety of unexpected health issues.....I know what I blame...and its not red meat!!

My riding buddy Curtis had a BCC removed from his arm last year. Long sleeves forever now. I don't eat any meat, if it has a mother it doesn't pass my lips. It's purely humanitarian for my wife and I. I do miss a turkey and Swiss cheese sandwich or a good filet mignon occasionally. I've also had BCC removed from my chin. That left a scar from the bottom of my lip to the bottom of my chin.

At 74 I've had plenty of years to accumulate a lot of funky shit.
