Look awesome, a friend got his yesterday. dont think I can justify to myself £100 an end when theres nothing wrong with mine?
floating nuts exist in engineering but value for money non throwaway bike bling not so much
I thought I had missed something. I remember Superstar components doing replacement chain rings to an alloy spider, but not rotors unfortunately.

Added a little bling to my Levo in the form of new brake levers from Freedom Coast.
For me, after viewing the carnage in hospital/injury photo thread, I decided to get a Fox Proframe RS full-face helmet.

Tried the Deity Deftraps yesterday and every run was pretty much pain free
Have also just ordered some gold Peaty's tubless valves and gold Ti stem and brake lever bolts for a bit of bling. I was super tempted by a gold KMC X12 Ti-N chain but don't want to lose the smooth Hyperglide+ shifting. I'll just go for a boring looking XTR chain when my current chain shows signs of stretching.
Oh, and also a brake bleed kit as my brakes are feeling a bit spongey.

Bought 2 x RS Damper Charger 3.0 to 3.1 upgrade kits for our Lyrik D1 forks.
Getting a noticeable amount of stiction on the fork lately. I sprayed a bit of silicone before going out on Saturday & the suppleness instantly returned, albeit temporarily. It's coming due a service, so curious to understand if anyone has had success with aftermarket seals like SKF, Racing Bros etc.
Funny how that can happen. Twice my AXS battery cage fell off after a crash. Found on a trail by my riding mates. One was black and the other was red.
And then one of my riding mates found my Milwaukee chainsaw, in the middle of a fire road, in the rain. The day before I had stashed and hidden that chainsaw. It was returned to me. My name was engraved, as all my tools, in a couple of places.
I find water bottles, tire pumps, gloves, jackets etc, on our trails at least once a month. I place those at the entrance to hopefully be discovered by the owner.

The SKF duals have worked great every time I have installed them. Gunk stays out, oil stays in and stiction is low.

Yeah the SKF seals are the way to go, especially the dual compound ones
Somehow my front brake pads went to 
. I think they must have become contaminated or something because I have 65% grip and haven't been able to wear them into full performance. I'll try sanding them down to refresh them but I ordered two more pair of MTX Gold as a backup in case they need to be swapped. Was overshooting turns like mad this past weekend!

New Maxxis Minion DHF( yes f not r) ..to replace the same on the rear after a sidewall puncture that wouldnt repair ( the tyre was shot anyway but Im a tight arse )..
It then transpired that the rim needed re-taping and the valve replacing so ordered Peaty's Chris King Mk2 valves in forest green and re-sealed with Peatys Holeshot sealant ..which is excellent stuff except when you have left it too late to top up and it congeals on the inside of the old tyre & rim ..as over one hours worth of cleaning with rubbing alcohol and old gunk splattering everywhere as the old tyre took on the characteristics of a Black Mamba as I tried to get rid of it by placing it into a bag.
Its just as well the missus quite likes the re-decoration of the kitchen with the white with bluedots on primrose yellow walls ..but she thinks Ive gone a little too far with my matching arms & legs ..
Anyway ..the new rubber looks gorgeous

I had the digital version and I don’t recommend. The nozzle threads are super short and eventually the fitting stretched and threads failed. Worse-it damaged the threads on my shock. The Fox pump nozzle has much deeper threads and holds properly enough the shock threads aren’t jeopardized.
Appreciate the heads up! I'm pretty much a set and forget kind of person when it comes to suspension so hopefully it will be OK for the infrequent times I use it. I'll see how it holds when it arrives, and if it looks like it's going to be an issue I can always return it.
