What did you buy your ebike this week?

Few years ago had a removable tow bar fitted. Have never removed it so don't know why I bothered, should have had a fixed one instead.
In Germany we say: Having is better than needing!“
A Hans Dampf on the rear. I've had a run of problems with Maxxis tyres, the final straws were a DHR that sweated sealant all round the circumference as if it was made out of cheesecloth & a High Roller that lasted two rides before slashing irreparably. Trail casing but appears better made than the DHR & feels a little squirmy when pushed hard but no complaints on the grip levels - anyone who rides around here is a bit sensitive to grip as it's generally not on offer. Early days but I think I like it.
What is on the front? Magic Mary?

Yeah thinking that my self 😂 but car looks clean when removed and it doesn’t foul the camera

Ref post #7126 dated 2nd Jun'25. I finally finished the garage refit.
New lighting, walls and ceiling painted white, interlocking floor tiles, loads of racking. Ladder hung from the ceiling. Huge amounts of stuff sold, given away or scrapped. Then I had a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery installed to shift 95% of my day time energy consumption onto the night time tariff. New wooden workbench still to arrive. A lot of effort, but I am delighted with the result. :)

I know it's in there somewhere, but I still haven't found all my biking stuff!

Starting to look like a bike cave! Well done.

Not sure what you intend to do with the blank wall but I was thinking about mine for a while. Then I did this;

Grandkids, family and friends eventually make it to the wall. Cheap frames, budget prints and a few are donated.

The grandkids love it …and some space for a few more.

Caveat; you must be wearing a helmet.

Rear mudguard to protect the bike not my back since I'm lucky enough to have a washing machine at home.

Just curious …how did you attach the fender to the frame? Was the fender specific to your bike/frame?

I use a similar design fender to protect the frame/dropper/battery. Mine extends a little past the main frame pivot point which helps keep debris away from that area …but I occasionally get a tire buzz when/as I torque the rear wheel.

Not a serious problem but I suppose I could modify the fender a little.

This is the new Sicomtb mudguard for Levo 4 and it's a bit shorter at the pivot point and longer at the rear compared to the Levo 3 mudguard.
I first tried to use the Levo 3 mudguard but it's too wide and won't fit.

Great idea!
But I will not be putting any more holes in my garage walls.
It took me bloody ages to fill all the existing screw holes and nail holes.

so, been playing with bike-fit and decided to raise the bar - literally so either stem spcers (plates & longer bolts as I'm using a direct-mount stem on Manitou Dorado twincrown forks) or different handlebars

Mrs Zed aquired a nice, new Burgtec Ride High 50mm Rise Josh Bryceland Signature alloy handlebar so hopefullu this'll cure a few issues (like my riding the front of the bike:oops:)

no photo because I think everyone has an idea of what a handlebar looks like:p

Following my garage revamp, I'm still looking for stuff. I spent a couple of hours today looking for the Muc Off big-bore valves that I bought just before starting. I know I put them somewhere safe! I found all sorts of stuff that I had forgotten I had. I found four, yes FOUR Shimano 12-speed mechs. I know two of them are fit for spares only, because they are labelled. But the other two?

I found these in a box labelled "Reverb bits" It is years since I had a Reverb and I cannot remember what they are for. Does anyone know for sure? There are two all bagged up, one opened so you can get a better look.

Looking at the picture, there is one more componenbt in the bag on the right, that black square with the metal square rivetted on to it, just to the right of the silver ring (handlebar collar or maybe a seatpost collar)?

Anyway, once I know what they are I'll be getting rid via eBay, or on here.

PS: I found the big-bore valves, they were so safe that they were not even in the garage! They were behind my printer!!

If it's from an older reverb, I'd say that's the kit you need to carry in order to zip tie the whole thing back together after it fails spectacularly mid-ride.
Bag is for the bits that fall off.

Hope 5s with FR541s cushcore, kryptotal and Argotal (however you spell them) front and rear on a mullet.

If I break these then I’m ditching the bikes and buying some hiking boots.
That will be a great set-up.
