+10 mm upgrade for my Levo SL's Lyrik forks. This will be my christmas present to myself and the bike's only upgrade for a while. Am really curious on how 160/150mm will feel on the Gen1.

I bought a waterproof jacket for my grandson's commute.
Altura Nevis waterproof jacket down from £60 to £19.99. Still en-route!

Edit: Added 6th Dec'24. The jacket arrived a day or so ago. It is a nice jacket and I have no doubt that it will do its job! It is reflective as well, something I had not noticed on the website.

Swapped my cheap & nasty oem lower headset bearing for a sexy sealed cartridge. To my surprise, Chain Reaction have kept their Ebay store going, so bagged a ZS56/40 lower cup, bearing, seal & crown race for £8. Acros, Hope etc are four or five times the price & the Nukeproof stuff is easily similar quality.

I have (& use) the NP headset bearings, bought a load cheap from Wiggle / crc before their demise, have bought a few more since from their ebay store:cool:

That is good to know that Chain Reaction has the E Bay store.

Far from it. At 30psi they feel like a normal tyre does at 20. That's kinda part of the whole point.
While I'm not going to disagree with you here ( I don't know too much about them ) ..isn't the main advantage in the fact that they give a much larger contact patch to the ground when running at the same pressure ..and if I've read the blurb correctly it's recommended that you run the same psi as comparable non radial tyres to start with ?

somewhat discounted Nukeproof 'Blackline Dirt Suit' on ebay for nowhere near their origonal rrp of £450o_O

I bought a magnetic latch mount for my GoPro 13 and as per usual it was delivered by the Unreliable Parcel Service (UPS) and true to form it arrived a day late and in a box literally 10 times bigger than the GoPro box and without any padding to excuse the size of the box, I don’t want to offend any of our American cousins because I love America but GoPro need to get another courier, every single item I’ve bought from GoPro has been delivered by UPS and every time my items have arrived late or very late, rant over, here’s the item in question

Unfortunately my Ohlins coil shock is also still off being serviced so I had to ride the 2022 Fox Float X2 that came with the frame. It’s the first time it’s been ridden and the damper failed after 6 miles so it was bottoming out constantly despite 200psi (I’m 50kg). Off to Fox it goes…
Dunno if it counts as "bought" but Fox have just confirmed they're sending me a brand new 2024 Float X2 Factory as a warranty replacement for this one 😅

I threw a load of old stuff away that I'd been keeping 'just in case'. You probably know the problem.... old semi worn chains and cassettes, cheap or uncomfortable saddles, crappy or knackered pedals, old tyres and tubes, bits off old bikes with no value...all now gone and my 'filing system' of bits and bobs (an old chest of drawers and any flat surface in the garage) is less cluttered.

Good man! To date I am unable to do that. In a previous life I must have been a squirrel!

Bought this stuff because a riding buddy said that it really does work. We. Shall. See.

If it does work then recommended cheaper options welcome.
