Well I been trying to learn to wheelie today on my stereo Pro 140. Lowered the saddle and had her in touring, can hardly get the wheel up. As daft as this sounds the reach seems very short to be wheeliing. That and being 50......?? Also not a fan of slipping off the back, my knackers don't approve.

Hmmm watched a load of videos, if my arms are straight i think I'd be miles to far back. The cockpit seems really short with arms straight when leaning back. I'll try some more tomorrow.

Learn to feather the back brake and you won`t tip over back wards .
Also to build confidence - deliberately flip the bike on grass at a very low speed . Then you now what is involved in getting off the back . Proper back brake technique is also involved in the manual . If you feel you are over balancing feather the brake and the wheel will drop .

You can’t be far back enough! Get to the point where all of your fails are loops as opposed to slamming the front down then you can start to feather the brake.

As above have said “ gotta go over the back to see where the limit is “ and keep the hips and knees loose !

Remember a wheelie isn’t about pulling the front up with your upper body, it’s the pedal kick and leaning back that gets the front up, then the back brake and your balance that keeps you there.

From watching all these vids it shows there are many different ways of doing, and controlling a wheelie

Yeah I'm well aware, its justbleaning so far back with straight as feels so unnatural. The bike feels so short. If that ages sense.

Why can't we have an edit button on our posts. I always post before I check what predictive has said....
