Heads up for anyone considering buying from the online store

So before Christmas they offered me a 15% discount I brought a sl range extender and cable which worked out around £52 off the retail price

After being told it was in stock it changed to out of stock after waiting a while I went to my lbs and got the two items sadly for the full price but they were in stock

so I tired to cancel my order with Specialized but was told it couldn’t be cancel until the shop had received it and I rejected it

so the shop received it call me and told it it wasn’t there problem and I should collect it as it is NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM ??

After refusing to collect it they said they would retuned it for me but it would take 10 days to get a refund , ok cool

call the shop to make sure they had returned it only to find out they have REORDERED IT !!!! So now there two orders to return

finally the shop return it and the guy in the shop Actually said no one buys direct from the specialised main site as they are so disorganised and unprofessional !!

anyway so my refund has been done today is the nightmare over ????????

NOPE

total goods were £347
I got a £52 discount so I PAID £295 !!!

they have taken £52 off the £295 I paid and refunded me £243 ?????????

how on earth do I get that back after the nightmare above

I love my Levo ff and my Levo sl but won’t buy anything Direct from them ever again

good luck if you risk buying from them

bought a tyre direct from them before xmas. Process worked fine for me.

I'm sure they'll sort it out for you.
 
I will keep you posted it’s only taken then nearly a month to refund me , the wrong amount ???

Hopefully you got it sorted...

Sucks when things go wrong. Seems like a few administration errors causing a load of hassle. But I want to say that its SO good that Specialized are here to support with these kind of things. I think it makes a huge difference to actual riders (us) experience that they are here on the site.
 
On the other hand I just bought a couple things from spec direct and they arrived much quicker than I thought and were nice with the 15% off discount on their website. Was a very pleasant experience.

The buying Experience was great for me to ?,
the problems started when I wanted to return it ?

I must say tho specialized rider care are helping me now and have been very good so far so my confidence is being restored in ordering direct in the future

Also both my Levo and Levo sl were purchased without any problem as well ,

I was just pointing out it honestly seems more like your shops fault than specialized direct(other than the refund issue, but again your whole situation got a bit messy by involving the LBS). I had stuff shipped directly to my house and had zero issues whatsoever. Now one of my specialized LBS on the other hand is a different story when it came to trying to order stuff which was annoying and a bit of a hassle as I also had to deal with a return, but it was all LBS and no website involved on that one, including my LBS (not the one I bought my bike from) trying to falsely put the blame on me for the mix up. So I can sympathize with you on that front.

Interesting story. On the other hand, I bought my SL from my local shop and then signed up on the specialized site and was offered the standard 15% off. I tried to order the range extender using my discount and was told I couldn’t use it on a range extender!
 
Just to update on this problem I had

All of the issues happened due to my local Specialized shop sadly

Specialized rider care have been most helpful and resolved this fully

I cannot thank them enough for the help and assistant they have given me?
