So I saw this bike in the flesh at Sea Otter at the last seconds (literally) before Ride Wrap tore down there booth on Sunday afternoon. I was expecting to have more time look it over and discuss it, but event runners unceremoniously required vendors to tear down there booths at 2pm sharp, this time around, and so I went scrambling to get to the essential booths before the carriages turned into pumpkins. With only seconds at hand for a "flash assessment", it's as striking in person, if not more, than in the pictures. The design does a good job at hiding its complexity at first glance, with nearly all of it concentrated in one spot on the bike. Here are some closeups of this spot:
The mud flap appears to be absolutely essential.
Wheel clearance this tight and this is a mullet. PNW folks who root in mud need to do a bit more research here.
I did the lift test and it felt light and analog-ish. No time to throw a leg over it and assess the rider placement.
