Unno Mith released with DJI motor, 800Wh battery

Just order it online, I sent them a message earlier. If I ordered today I could have the bike on my doorstep in a week.
There is a full list of UK stockists on the Unno website, top right of their home screen under dealers, change the flag to your preferred country, currently showing 18 stockists here in the UK if you're not keen on the mail order option.

It looks really cool but the price tag is a bit too high especially when: you don't want/need kashima, dislike newmen wheel and would discard the formula cura.

Might say that a more entry version would be great.
I wish more and more manufacturers would offer framesets so you can build your own design. Of course they'd likely charge way more than they're worth like Spesh does, but it would be a nice option. Everyone has their preference for brakes/wheels/suspension etc and it would be nice to just pick what you want from the beginning.

Thanks. Called a few this morning. UK dealers are pretty much sold out already!
Can't see a delivery timeframe on the Unno website if ordered direct from them. Ou812 mentioned it could be as little as week. That would be amazing.

Propain offer that. I agree, shame more companies dont.

www.brink.uk are showing physical stock, based in Bedford

Disclaimer, no sealant in tyres and I haven’t personally calibrated these scales, but FYI

Bummer, I never understand why companies launch a product and then make customers wait, they should deliver goods to stockists pre-launch.

The description below says ‘pre order’, presumably hasn’t been updated since they were added to the site, but stock levels are shown in each size.

A quick phone call would confirm I’m sure, if anybody is serious about buying one.

Happens all the time across many Industries.
I pre-ordered a Polestar 3 (EV)on the launch day at the end of October 2022. October 2024 roled by and they were still not delivering them!

Called them today. Brink didn't have stock. Think they're sold out until Q4 this year. Called several dealers, no luck. I did finally manage to find on in the end. An S2 Race for delivery in August from Nirvana Cycles, Dorking. Deposit paid. It's going to be a long wait, but hopefully worth it.

If an Ibis Oso got șhĩt-faced hammered and had unprotected sex with a Schwinn Townie, the resulting mutant bastard bike would look exactly like the

Ibis should have launched their HD6 as their e-bike and not the fugly Oso.

How much are you getting shafted with vat & import duties in the UK if you order direct from Unno do you think?

Check before you take the plunge, but it’s likely +14% duty on the bike, + delivery charge, then the couriers handling fee for collecting duties/vat, plus 20% VAT on top of the total.

Add 35% to the price as a rough guide? Unno should be sellling it minus any Spanish duty/vat though as it’s being exported.

That’s my understanding anyway.

I got put off after speaking with one of their ex dealers. Maybe they have sorted it but previous mith was a nightmare both reliability and support from Spain so they stopped selling them.

Spoke to them earlier, if I ordered within the next few days they were estimating end of May for dispatch

At 179cm (5ft 11in) I appear to fall into the S2 sizing.

I absolutely love the look of this bike but I have reservations on seatpost arrangement.

The s2 comes with a 180mm and I feel it’s likely that 180 dropper would need to be raised to size me correctly. I currently run a 200mm on my large whyte e160rs and it fits nicely.

With a 180mm dropper on the Unno I’d be worried I’d have to raise it too high as I like my seatpost collar to be slammed and well out the way.

I know the seapost insertion length has been improved, but improved enough? I guess sitting on one would be the only way forward to check!

They are completely different bikes!
You either want a trail bike or an Enduro/Free-ride bike

Yes, but also - eh - not really.
The motor makes up for the traditional differences in these types of bikes.

Travel is only 10mm difference front/back.

I'm not the type of rider that believes 1cm of travel and a 1 degree of HA makes a bike a trail bike/not an enduro bike.

Or, buy it from a UK retailer and support them with your business, if UNNO were supportive of their dealer network they wouldn't be selling direct to customers but informing those customers of which dealer has stock closest to them, this is how brands fail, choose one or the other but don't be biting the hands that feeds you.

Hey, I was just answering the duty/vat question!

Personally, I do buy local, and I also buy from brands that have good support, look what happened to Pole owners…

If I was an importer/distributor of Unno bikes I’d be a bit miffed if I couldn’t get bikes from the manufacturer but customers could order direct and go around me.

There’s no price benefit by purchasing direct anyway, from what I can see, quite the opposite.
