Unno told me they have only just built some S2 versions and are going to email me the weight of an S3 when they have oneAnyone seen or heard anything on the Race specced bikes arriving with owners yet?
Yeah you wouldve expected some enthusiasts to be posting up their thoughts on the bike too...I would have thought that we would have some Mith reviews or ride impressions coming in now.
Nice to see unno have kept a long steerer tube length unlike other manufacturers who just cut and give you little room to play with. Can't wait to put some 50mm riser bars on mine when it gets delivered.Had my Race a week now, it is a brilliant bike. The motor is ridiculously powerful so I need to find some balance so it feels like I’m putting some effort in but love all the features, especially the coast shift which I didn’t think I’d actually use.
The bike itself is smooth and quiet and feels incredibly capable. It corners really well and feels very solid, almost like a DH bike. I’ve not noticed any of the issues with the rear suspension or needing to really be over the front that some early testers had mentioned. It does feel like it’s stuck to the ground so it’s not the most playful in that respect but that’s just a characteristic and it something I quite like for what I ride.
Couple of niggles I’ve picked up. 1. is the rear tyre ever so slightly bottoms out on the shock fender at full travel but having switched to an Albert in the rear and heating and bending the fender down a bit it’s fixed the issue. 2. The chain guide was rubbing ever so slightly under pedal pressure on the chainring so I’ve shimmed it out a little to get better clearance.
I changed the brakes straight away which was very easy to pull through the new rear with out having to drop the motor or battery. I just removed a couple of the very neat covers that sit around the back of the motor which are there to keep the crap out.
Size wise I bought the S2 at 5’11” and I’m glad I did. The fit feels spot on.

Nothing really, I’ve run SRAM/Avid for 20+ years. I just prefer them to anything else.Nice to see unno have kept a long steerer tube length unlike other manufacturers who just cut and give you little room to play with. Can't wait to put some 50mm riser bars on mine when it gets delivered.
Out of interest what was wrong with the standard brakes?
Congratulation! Which mud guard did you installed?Had my Race a week now, it is a brilliant bike.
It’s the Fox XLCongratulation! Which mud guard did you installed?
Perfect.. do you have some in the sunlight? Wanna see how the purple touch will look Outside
When did you order yours? Mine shoukld arrive in august too!So has anyone taken del and put there MITH through its paces yet? mine arrives next week looking forwards to see how it compares with the Amflow. I hear its bit edgy to ride fast and requires a bit more thought into suspension set up. But when its dialed in its a dream ride ( even more so with the updated smooth shift from DJI) if you like fast down hill bikes apparently.

I don’t understand where this opinion is coming from. I’ve now ridden mine in Surrey Hills, Staunton, some off piste tracks in the Welsh Valleys aswell as some local trails over the last 10 days. Other than quickening the rear up a bit from the factory settings the bike has been pretty easy to dial in.So has anyone taken del and put there MITH through its paces yet? mine arrives next week looking forwards to see how it compares with the Amflow. It’s quick and smooth across the ground and is no different to any other Enduro style bike I’ve owned in the past to ride or get set up. It’s when you get it moving that it really starts to sing.
I wouldn’t describe the bike as that at all. It does reward rider input through the turns but it’s no harder to get to turn than anything else I’ve ridden. It seems to have more grip than anything else I’ve ridden but you get that from loading the front properly. It's good to have a ride report.
There are a few brief reviews that describe a rigid and hard to set up chassis that demands a lot from the rider to get it to turn, I think that is where the above question came from.

How did you find the Sagg settings? I hear it responds better to 30/40% rather then the usual 20%I don’t understand where this opinion is coming from. Recommended sag is 30-35% so I went mid point. Feels good but haven’t played with that any further yet.How did you find the Sagg settings? I hear it responds better to 30/40% rather then the usual 20%
20% sag is never the usual on an AM/ enduro bike. 20% is for a 100-120mm XC bike. How did you find the Sagg settings? I hear it responds better to 30/40% rather then the usual 20%
