Two problems on my new Commencal...help needed

After 7 months of waiting my Ohlins meta power showed up this afternoon...it looks awesome.

BUT...2 issues

1: when I press ON button...I hear a beep and display says "steps" for a few seconds...then the power goes off???
do I need to fully charge the battery the first time or is it something else.

2: I can't charge the battery outside the bike...I don't have the adaptor , does it need to come with the bike or do you need to buy it?

1: sounds like the battery is flat .. fingers crossed anyway ..

Press the button on the battery to help wake it up. Should fix it.

Commencal make you buy the adaptor separately. Bit of a joke with the price you pay. The adaptors came with my Merida E160 9000.
