Any one have experience with TRP Slate EVO's HD_M807

Can get a set for £80,00 plus cost of new TRP rotors

Looking for a budget option to change my Codes out on another of my bikes , paired with thicker rotors a good budget option ?

I have a set I run on my "cheap" bike setup. I quite like them.

They're not "wow" .. but the feeling is ok, they work ok. Personally I think randomly sticking your foot out and hoping is comparable to Codes, so I'm not the best person for a fair comparison. The last set of codes I had I donated to Gary as selling them to anyone felt like theft.

Think I paid about €75 a couple of years ago to upgrade from some lesser TRP's and they were a vast improvement.

Not quite as sharp or powerful as say a Shimano XT setup (as I can't give a fair codes comparison) but they do the job, have been problem free, zero maintenance and a Shimano bleed kit works fine with them.
