Trek Fuel EXe 9.7 display problem

The shop called to tell me the bike was ready (after 1 day) seems they took the display off a new bike and will work out the warranty replacement with TQ/Trek on that one so I won't have to wait and there won't be an issue with the warranty lapsing. That's a great bike shop!

wait, tq hpr display v01 is rated ip 66, meaning dustproof and protection against strong jets of water

and the motor is rated ip 67, meaning dustproof and protection against short period of immersion in water up to depth 1m.

and now we have problem from water?

actually my display died on me today, was ok on thursday.

I have a trek fuel exe 9.7 and I am very disappointed. I am already on the 4th engine replacement and again with errors. I am now going to carry out the 5th repair under warranty where they will replace the entire electrical system.
