I have been completely desensitised to the cost of high end bikes. To me it looks like a bargain compared to the rest of the latest gen on bikes. That bike is clearly head and shoulders above anything on the market (in my opinion) with build quality , finish , design. Say I spent 10k on one of those warlocks. how long do you think I could run that bike ? With support for the motor , hardware battery ? 3-5 years ? are we hopeful for longer ?

Good video and article Rob. I feel like you did a good job of the story telling while simultaneously mixing in the details you'd want as a prospective buyer or a person interested in the brand.

Great video Rob, very interested to hear your thoughts on how it rides.

Regardless, it's sooooo beautiful and I want one!

I mean, look at it, just look at it!!!!

Full marks for the design and execution, I do however think Unno are missjng a trick, they could have been, and still could be, a company offering 2 options of motor on the same bike.
The market is very tough, and companies constantly putting their eggs into one basket limits the market share, Unno pivoted at the eleventh hour and went with DJI when they could have also offered a Bosch powered option, they could have made a much bigger statement to the buying public in offering choice of motor and so satisfying buying demand quicker, personally I'll wait a little longer as I'm not keen on committing to receiving a bike in the fourth quarter of 2025 especially when Unno have hinted of more build options coming shortly.

Cesar mentioning 600Wh battery fits right in, has anyone seen them sold? I couldn't google out anything. That would shave 900 grams of this, making it full-grade SL-bike.

I really liked this video, to me it wasn't advertising just showing the spirit of "small" company making their dream product. And they have been trying for long time since first trail bike, each time getting closer to break-through, really hope this is it.
What better time for European product, even if it's boutique luxury item.

I have quite a bug in my head about this bike, not sure I want all that power though :- )

I don't think you can buy the batteries yet - 800's or 600's.

Presumably production will increase at some point and they'll have spares for sale.

My understanding is that at some point official DJI bike dealers will be able to order / supply new batteries for end users.

It looks the batts are available. I drove over the charger for my AMflow and had to order a new one. A new 800w Batt sent in error came with the new charger arriving after 2 days.

Rob, when is an unfiltered review going to drop?

The truth is that even if the review complains about rear suspension performance, front wheel traction or dropper insertion, Cesar will sell every one of these at full price just based on the numbers and looks.

I haven’t even got a bike yet, but as soon as I can!

As above Rob, superb video and beautifully shot. Thank you for such an interesting behind the scenes look at Unno. Really enjoyed the video.

On paper this bike is remarkable - Avinox drive system, enduro spec (not trail like the Amflow), 800w battery, stunning frame, factory suspension and all super light weight etc etc. It's what I've been waiting for the last couple years. It also looks incredible too with that massive capacity battery in such a slim unique looking frame. What a great job they've done. Also dare I say it, but it seems good value when you compare it to some of the new bikes out recently, Levo / Vala etc. On that basis I've taken a punt and ordered one for delivery in June, I just hope it rides well. Given it's designed by an ex world cup racer I've faith it will. Can't wait to hear your thoughts after you've done your first ride review Rob.

Thanks Rob it was an excellent video and so exciting to see the DJI motor in something more aggressively designed for downhill/enduro.
Are they in full production yet and what sort of numbers are they hoping to manufacture?
Also wonder if they will find their way downunder as would be very interested in the availability and pricing.

Interesting question.
As someone who ‘invested’ £7k into a Santa Cruz Heckler in October 2020 I was quite surprised to discover that 4 years later, not only was the technology dated (to be expected?) but the support for the battery and motor, the Shimano E8000 system is completely missing in the UK with the exception of one motor repair service in the Lake District.
Indeed should you search for any online support on the Shimano website you will find no mention of the system, no S/W support or updates.
This has prompted me to purchase a new bike……but I won’t be keeping it 4 years and I didn’t spend as much this time to minimise the costs.
And I will NEVER buy Shimano again.

it is wild isn't it. It's life changing amounts of money every 3-5 years. I dont understand where it's all going.

People spending £13k on a bike……..crazy.
But more crazy if it is effectively redundant in 4 years because of lack of support from the manufacturers.
You wouldn’t spend that on a car, if you thought there would be zero support after 4 years.

No wonder Shimano is losing ground so fast.

there is no comparison I can think of its the Wild West. In no other area would it be acceptable that you 10k motorised item is useless in 4 years. Zero modulation . zero future proofing. why do I care ?? Because I really want one and love riding bikes but I am continually in disbelief what the consumer is meant to put up with to own one. Every time I almost buy one. I come to this forum and remind myself how fucking insane this whole thing is. OK OK they are sick and you get 10 times the laps. ok that is very cool but damn your paying a high price for it.

I am just waiting to snipe one with a big discount , apologies to Mother Nature for my wasteful behaviour and rip it until it dies. But frame only options aren't forthcoming yet. until then. You brave pioneering men. blasting cash up the wall so our children can have reliable ebikes. I salute you all.

I’ve got friends and family who spend near that on distant holidays each year, and whilst I’m sure they have a great time, it’s spent and gone.

At least I could look at the Unno Mith the other 50 weeks of the year and maybe even ride it! 🤣😍

I don't find the price-tag of boutique brand off-putting, it's luxury item effectively even though its bespoke-ness is somewhat virtual with offshore production now. I was surprised the Amflow-Pro is 10K though as that is rather (no offence to anyone) pedestrian frame that I could easily mistake for white-label product. Shows DJI considers it a premium product despite only the engine being premium on it.

The Elite build of Unno Mith for 10K might lack carbon hoops, but can justify its price way better than Amflow-Pro.
S-Works still cost 14K, and those are mass-produced, although very high-quality put together (I can never blame any detail on Spec bikes, just look like all was thought-off, but they sure are expensive for a generic bikes).

I believe Unno/Cero really tried to bring the cost down as much as possible, but realities of small-production are very restricting as any small-business owner could tell you. They really aren't getting rich of this and buying Taycans left and right.

As long as they have people paying them, they're asking what they want.. Compared to Santa or Specialized they are not even that expensive. Quite the opposite. But they noticed obviously.. Prices for the August batch here in switzerland have been changed: +1500!!!

Any riding videos out yet? Interesting review on the bike in the multi bike test. See it won the editorial choice of the best fun bike tested.
