I'm waiting for my Spectral:ON, not trying to make a point or complain, this delay is not bad at all. Just venting because I can't wait! :)

Test ride March 16th
Ordered the bike online (in stock, flash red Spectral:ON 7.0), March 16th
Shipping notification from Canyon, March 26th
A phone call from my local delivery agent, today April 2nd
(just to let me know that the bike is going to be delivered tomorrow...I was hoping for today)

I've had mine, spectral 7.0, shipped to my daughter's house in France, and am going to ride it only on the 18th, when my wife and me get there, from Brasil, to make a biking tour through the southwest of France an Spain. It's difficult to control the anxiety. The bike has already been delivered.
 
Oh man, just seen this thread, order my Spectral ON nearly two weeks ago and got email yesterday saying due to unforeseen issue now delayed until beginning of July when it should have shipped this week! The bike was in stock (apparently) so just need the brake cable swap for UK.

Sounds like they dropped a bollock and it wasn’t actually in stock and need to manufacture one! It sooooo frustrating, got everything lined up for it, insurance, locks, new gear.....
 
my 7.0 is floating around the UK somewhere, just waiting for DHL (or Europa or whoever actually does the final delivery!) to contact me to arrange delivery.
 
Mine came but didn’t work so had to send it back riding a Levo now.

Something weird going on. Spoke to them last Thurs and they said oh the email was en error the bike was finishing production (again) that day them moving to despatch. I expected to see a shipping email Friday or today but nothing.

There seems no urgency to deliver a top end bike or provide any progress updates. Customer service is lacking

I know it’s not acceptable, but is this really a surprise to you? All the big direct sales brands have had delivery issues at one point or another, and Canyon are (in)famous for it, especially on their initial ebike deliveries:

One of the main ways they get costs so low is by reducing the stock levels that sit in their supply chain, so delays are to a certain extent inevitable. Not right, but it is a fact.

My wife got ghe same email. Then 2 hours later gets a Facebook message saying they can be delivered from stock if you order today ... duh.

Did the local agent call you the same day it arrived at the warehouse? Mine is now in a similar place saying delivery on appointments only. No call from DHL or anyone else as yet.

I reckon our bikes are sat together as mine arrived at Greenford same date and time! I don’t have the last update on my tracking about contact consignee but guess it’s a waiting game now!

I’d contact Canyon but customer service hasn’t been great so far.

Be happy to go and collect it if I could

Call today from Europa, they can deliver until Monday now, another weekend gone. Anyway, I’m now wfh to make sure it comes ok and be out as soon as built Monday evening! Sweeeet!

Same here pity they didn't call on Wednesday then it could of been here in time for the weekend.
 
Finallly it arrived, today!!!! Enjoyed unboxing and putting it together, looks spot on.

Got all ready and had a spin down the road then had to finish working. Then the wife tells she is off out tonight and I can’t leave the kids and go riding tonight ?????

I'm in Spain. Does the last line mean the bike is already in Spain? It's strange to say "awaiting delivery appointment" when the bike is still in Germany...
 
Looks like it got ping ponged between 2 warehouse locations as well :ROFLMAO:
How efficient.
Can't sat my countries postal system is any better, I ordered some bits from a bike shop 3 miles away, the items are collected by our postal system and then sent to a sorting depot hundreds and hundreds of miles away before being routed back to a local one...
