Anyone experienced this issue as I have never seen this issue before three segments on the TCU very dim, any ideas or solutions? Wasn't even after a wash or heavy rain?

you could try changing the TCU battery (1620 coin type)

Does anyone know if a tcu can be repaired? mine has died ( tested on another bike to be sure) and its looking like i need a new one at £160 ish . Chances are there will be a few second hand ones knocking around if / when people upgrade to the newer version but thats no use to me now .
